Founded in the 1830s, the area was originally known as Salem. In 1839 Salem was designated the seat of the newly formed Dade County. It was renamed Trenton in 1841. The population was 2,301 at the 2010 census. It is the only incorporated municipality in the county, and as such it serves as the county seat. Trenton is part of the Chattanooga, Tennessee–GA Metropolitan Statistical Area.

We got off the interstate to eat at another restaurant, but we notice this restaurant on the way through town. The food was very flavorful and fresh. The chip and salsa were great. The portion size for the lunch specials was great. The prices were great. We had great service as well.

Appearance was not that appealing but the food makes up for it. We had the chili Colorado and the spinach quesadilla. The salsa was good but to spicy for the spouse. The chili Colorado was spicy any delicious, if you like hot food. The spinach quesadilla was very good also. The service was very good and priced reasonable. The only complaint I have is I ordered one type of draft beer and believe they brought a different brand because it didn't taste as it should.This place is next door to a motel were the lineman school trainees stay so it may appear not busy but the place is full and also there is a parking lot behind the restaurant which is not visable from the highway. We will definitely eat here again.

We have eaten here before and the place was dirty, floors and tables. It been a while so we thought we would try again, bad move. The floors were nasty with food and misc trash scattered everywhere. The floor was so greasy that our shoes slid when we stood still. The employees some to be having a good time according to their laughter and whooping. The drinks didn't taste right so the drink machine probably needed cleaning. The food was thrown together and was different from other taco bells. The taco was broken when opened. My spouse would not even finish her food it was so bad. This taco bell was awful and I would have given it 0 stars if had been a option. Corporate office should be ashamed of this restaurant.
