I drove out based on the reviews. First, it is now takeout only. There was a large line. The food was good, but not great. I didn't find the portions to be large, but they were adequate. The prices were in line with other similar places. I would go back, if I was in the area but I would not drive from my hotel on Virginia Ave.

Last visit here was JUN 2018. I enjoy eating here before international travel. This visit was disappointing overall. The Crab & Corn Chowder was quite good (had it before), but the Georgia Shrimp & Gits had basically no taste. 6 large shrimp were OK, but the large volume of cheese grits was bland.
cant believe im the first to write a review for this place. i love the fact you can pick out your own crab legs and they cook them for you. Along with shrimo, crawfish, potatoes and sausage. The flavors are great, and they cook everything so you don't have too! great for last minute dinners or parties or just if you are hungrywill always come here for my seafood fix
Had a late lunch there yesterday. The serve staff is excellent and very friendly. Even offered to turn down the music if it bothered my husbands hearing aids. Sabrina was a sweetie. Food was so good. Havenât had mussels in awhile and in the Krabhut sauce they were out of this world. My husband had combination basket which he said was perfect. Only disappointments, out of raw oysters and they did not carry a blended whiskey like Canadian or a decent brandy.
First visit will not be the last visit. The server welcomed and greeted us in a friendly manner. We visited during lunch and it was not crowded at all therefore we were able to choose our own seating. The booths are very spacious and there's tables and bar seating. The seafood was delicious and plenty. The steak looked tender. We all had to ask for doggie bags. The server was very attentive and the owner came over to introduce himself

Louisiana Bistreaux is focused on bringing the wonderful cuisine of Louisiana in a casual setting. Our menu consists of fresh seafood, steaks and other specialties such as, gumbos, Jambalaya, Etouffee's, etc
I was pretty excited about my visit. The food was good but I was disappointed. The spicy barbeque shrimp appetizer was good however i found it to be on the low end of spicy to my liken. I was anticipating a much spicier sinus clearing dish. I would order it again but request to turn up the heat. The shrimp were very good. I chose the Jambalaya and this was disappointing as it was extremely dry. Shrimp was good and the sausage was good. I avoided the chicken as the first chunky I ate was full of gristle and I just placed it on the side dish and ate no more chicken. It was extremely dry. It was tasty. As I just looked at my receipt I saw that I was charged $18.99 but on the menu on their web page it says $14.99. So that adds to the disappointment. My service was really great. The server was very attentive. As a note the security guard walking around the location I assume is a good thing but from being out of town was concerning. I thought the location was open till 11 but realized they were closing early when the server apologized that the unsweetened tea had been thrown out. I was offered soda or water neither do I drink. Time to leave. Thanks, We appreciate you taking the time to review your experience

Enjoy your Phillips favorites while waiting for your flight! Travelers can order up Phillips' famous crab cakes, gourmet seafood soups, fresh salads, seafood appetizers and entrees, for dine-in in our newly renovated location in Concourse D's Centerpoint.
Stopped in at Phillips for a quick lunch between flights. Service was pretty steady and they got me in and out nice and quick. The tuna steak, which I had blackened, was perfectly cooked to a medium rare and very tasty. The pineapple salsa that I tried to pair it with was delicious, but better on its own than with the fish if I'm honest. The veggies were fresh, and the hushpuppies were different than I am used to, but still good. I got cheesecake on the recommendation of my server, and while it was okay, it was really quite overpriced for cheesecake. Overall, I'd still recommend stopping in for lunch here, but maybe skip the dessert.

I am so glad I found this place. I was invited to a birthday celebration there and was curious to why this place was chosen. It looks small but great seafood flavor is lurking behind these walls. Everything was great. Crab legs, fried ship, catfish, potatoes, and corn. I also tried boiled eggs in a special seafood seasoning and they were great! If you like Cajun and costal seafood this is it. I am adding this place to my list of must have eats in and around Atlanta.

Found that the dinner served was good. We purchased a family size of 6 whiting will fries, hush puppies, fried okra. The only negative thing is the cold slaw was not. To my taste.
