Itâs great to see new places open in Helen, Georgia and was excited to try Blauer Wolf Brewery featuring Alaskan seafood. It did not disappoint.I lived in Alaska for 20 years so it was great trying out the menu. Alaskan Halibut and Cod was great, cooked perfectly and the clam chowder was excellent.Alpine Helen exterior and rustic Alaskan inside. Staff was great, attentive and friendly! Now if the bar can get Alaskan Amber Iâll feel like Iâm back in Alaska.Upstairs deck will make a great addition to our town. Brewery is still being set up so Iâm excited to try their craft beers soon!Prices were normal for Helen and everyone should give this a try! Great addition to Helen!

Mixed drinks are good but a little pricey! Beer is good. The best part is sitting on deck and watching tubers in the river below go by.

Since 1965 Paul's Steakhouse has been well-regarded for its seared steaks, cooked to perfection. A casual atmosphere and a friendly staff create a cozy environment where folks can enjoy cocktails, a meal, and some welcome conversation. Enjoy a steak or se
Lunch was horrible. Onion rings were expensive and burnt. Turkey Swiss melt sandwich was 2 pieces of white bread toasted then turkey and a piece of cheese place in the bread and cut. It was terrible. Couldnât tell there was vodka in the drink.

Iâll say that Helen was overrun with visiting Shriners so we escaped here! This, by far, has been the best experience as it relates to food to price value, professional staff, and an overall wonderful experience!!! Village Tavern nailed it â¥ï¸

Brendan waited on us tonight. Service was wonderful! The taco salad and tuna tacos were unique. Brendan suggested a delicious beer! We were grateful to find great food close to The Holiday Inn Express. It is nice to be close enough to walk to good places!

Stopped by for the first time on 8/13/19 ordering two entrees and potato cake which were good, the knockwurst were good, our waitress Hannah was awesome. A bit overpriced though.

This place was recommended to me by a friend so I had to stop in and check it out. It is located in a great spot next to the river but with that being said it does get incredibly busy. I was seated pretty quickly and had a great place to eat and people watch. My one negative is that it did quite a bit of time for my server to finally come up. After that I ordered the tavern burger but substituted it for chicken instead and it came with a side of chips. The chicken was cooked perfectly however the chips came in a bag which was disappointing as I was expecting house made chips. Other than, great place for a meal and I would certainly go back despite the fact the service took a bit longer than usual.

We were walking around, fount this place during Octoberfest to be charming and warm and personable! We enjoyed ourselves here and took a break and had some relaxing moments and a drink! Prices were more than fair and live music was about to start....Highly Recommend and enjoyed this part of our day!

While spending the day in Helen, we heard of several places to eat, and this was one of them; So we came here for lunch, it was highly charged and great! Staff was super friendly although it was busy but did seem to level out. The popcorn appetizer was amazing and free, the man throwing the crust was a fun view although I ddI t get a picture. We had just a slice and a few drinks, but it was perfect and fulfilling! The pizzas are huge and the toppings are plentiful. Pasta and Hoagies are also offered, as well as specialty salads and house dishes. Highly recommend and will revisit soon and make this one of my must stops. A large outdoor covered dinning area is also available...
