A new restaurant in Cumming, Georgia, we thought we would give it a try. WOW this place is very unique. Loads of parking. The front patio has lots of comfortable seating with an outdoor fireplace. Then you enter the main room and bar. The décor is incredible. The theme is that of a New York Tavern of the 30's hence the name (5 Boroughs) The place is spotless, the restrooms are worth using just to see them. The menu offers a wide variety and the food is cooked in an open kitchen that you can see exactly how they are doing your order. We ordered Pizza. This is the best pizza I've had since leaving Buffalo, New York in the 70's. We also had a small order of 3 different pasta dishes, The chef who is also one of the owners came by to make sure everything was as expected...â¦..Actually it was even better. The bar is well stocked with fair prices. Overall our dinning experience was a 12 on a scale of 10. Highly recommend, We will be back.

We visited on a Wednesday night when they weren't busy, and waited over an hour for a few slices of pizza. Service was extremely slow, and they lost several orders of people who were coming in to pick up their to go orders. We watched as they made whole pizzas for them, however our cheese slices took forever. Thank you for your business and your feedback. Stopped in tonight during the storm with the kids. The owner was so nice and helpful.. gave the kids a penny game and coloring paper. Pizza was amazing seemed a little high priced but when we got it worth every penny. All made in house and super fresh.. will be back

Stopped for dinner on a Saturday night. We were able to get a table for 5 no problem. They had live music playing which was nice.Waitress was friendly and attentive. We all enjoyed our food which ranged from pizza to eggplant parm to the scallop special. Garlic knots were excellent. Food was a little slow to come out. Prices seemed reasonable. But, in the end, it wasn't over the top amazing.A solid choice for a casual dinner.

The service was outstanding, but the pizza is average. Multiple pizza pie sizes available. Our group is used to NY style and Chicago style pizza---We miss EVERYBODY'S (they made fantastic pizza). Okay, back to Mellow Mushroom/a chain/franchise????---we were there on Trivia night, everyone having a good time. The salads were very good. The pizzas are not bad, but they are not great. Sorry---wish I could say something more positive---not sure if it's the lack of a zesty sauce, more toppings, (shrug). Maybe, my group expected more, (again, a shrug). You won't be disappointed, but I doubt you will leave saying "this is the best pizza I ever ate".Thank you for your review Susan! We went to Pizzeria Azzurri for the third time yesterday. Fried Ravioli with marinara sauce is a great starter. Spinach salad with pralines, was fresh and had a delightful hot bacon dressing, My wife had the ceasar salad - again fresh and good dressing. Pizza is from a brickoven and the sauce is slightly sweet and not heavy - which is our preference. Wings are meaty and they are baked specifically for the flavor you order, not precooked and tossed in sauce prior to serving it to you. Despite having a help wanted sign, we didn't notice any lapse in service, we had a friendly, attentive, and smiling server. You won't be disappointed - if you're in the area, stop by!

We went because other reviews mentioned thin crust, NY style pizza. And because its location is in the middle of all Cummings's retail stores, we thought it would be a quick place to eat before running errands there. We were negatively surprised on both.We sat ten minutes before anyone ever came to take our drink orders. My son asked for a Sprite and a water. He was brought a glass with the two mixed together! My wife and I ordered a 12" to share and our son ordered two slices with two toppings. It took us thirty minutes to get the 12". And we still finished it before they ever brought our son's two slices. When we ordered, I had changed my mind a few minutes later about the meat I wanted on my half. I was told no problem since the pizza hadn't been put in the oven yet. When we got our bill, thankfully, I checked it closely. We had been charged for both versions of the pizza.Our waiter - the only one for the whole restaurant on a Saturday night - appeared to also be the manager and maybe owner. He did remove the double charge from our bill, both my sons slices and an additional 20% because of all that had happened. So I give them the second circle as credit for that service highlight. But if you choose to go here, I would only do so for the convenience to what's around it and if you're not in a hurry. And if you want the thin crust pizza we had been seeking, be sure to ask for it. It comes automatically if you get pizza by the slice. But if you order a full pizza, the standard crust is medium thickness - basically what you get with any of the chain delivery places. You have to know to ask for thin crust for those. We didn't.

Love the choice of foods and options (whole wheat and gluten free).Pizza was awesome but hated the meatballs, just not my style.Decent wine list and desert choices. Prices are reasonable for what you get. Good place for large groups or family as there is something for everyone!
