Myself and my boyfriend were two hungry idiots looking for a 24 hour restaurant after attending a Neurosis show at the Masquerade. Given that I hadn't had anything remotely Korean in ages, I decided on this place, and I'm glad that I did. While the prices are a bit steep, the food is more than worth it. My boyfriend got the barbecued pork dish, and I got a dish that consisted of cold buckwheat noodles and seafood. We picked off of each others' plates and enjoyed everything brought out to us (and there was a ton of food - bean sprouts, bok choi, and the like). I'd recommend coming here if you want a little taste of Korea in the deep south.

This is a little gem of a restaurant. It is unpretentious but the food is delicious. Make sure to try the handmade noodle dishes, especially the one with spicy black bean sauce. I like to judge by the quality of the shrimp dishes and they win my approval hands down. The wait staff is helpful, courteous and patient when you ask lots of questions.

We tried Kang Nam late on a Saturday night. We saw the 4.6 out of 5 rating, but had no other information. Really fantastic Sushi. Everything was good. Awesome service and will certainly be back...

Had a very pleasant lunch here. The menu was mostly classics Korean dishes, but also had some very tempting fusion dishes.Very airy and bright, with a high ceiling. The food was served on very attractive tableware. The server was extremely friendly and helpful.Prices were reasonable.Overall a very good experience and I plan to take friends there to try it as well.

Nice clean space and nice people, though our server spoke little English. Most of those eating here looked of Korean descent so that was assuring that this was acceptable traditional Korean. We ordered Bugolgi soup, bipimbop, and dumplings. The sizes are pretty generous for 12.95 each. The dumplings were 6.99 but came with like 12-14 smaller dumplings. The flavors were really good and was true to what you expect from solid Korean food. They do serve the Korean small plates which are always good. Their kimchi was a little weak for me but thatâs personal preference. Overall it was good, cost 35.00 for the 4 of us (though the Korean BBQ was considerably more expensive) and fulfilled the craving we had for good Korean.

We went on Father's day. Luckily we did not have a long wait to get seated. We ordered the meal for 3-4. which was plenty for us 4 adults and 2 small kids. The food taste was not that great. The salad with sesame seed dressing I liked because of the sweetness. The service was poor. Did not explain what sauce goes with what . What meat was given to us. We had 4 different chefs/cooks to barbecue. We had to ask for our soup.. They gave a small bowl of soup for the four of us. It was amiso soup - canned product mixed with hot water. The menu said it was to be a corn soup.

Had to try this place after seeing it in YouTube by the Eater. I have to admit it was worth the trip. The YookGae Jang and my friend had the Stone pot Bibimbop. We also tried the seafood Pajeon, probably the best I have ever had....

Well you don't go here for the decor! This is a bare bones Korean Restaurant that has solid tasty food that won't break the bank. Had Mushroom soup - boiling hot and loaded with mushrooms, stir fried squid...large portion of mostly squid..a bit chewy but delicious. All came accompanied with an 8 dish Banchan that included 3 types of kimchi, fried fish, a few marinaded thing that are not identifiable and of course some fried and seasoned tofu. Refills are not a problem. With a Korean Beer -Hite the bill was $33 for 2. Not bad.

Because there are mixed reviews about this restaurant and with many choices in the Atlanta area, therefore, we have forgo this restaurant. As we were driving around for shaved ice, and we turned into this unassuming strip mall and there it is, So Kong Dong. It was fate that we found ourselves having an early dinner instead. As expected, their tofu was excellent but surprisingly, their short rib was very tasty. Service was good and the place was beginning to fill up as we were leaving on a Sunday evening. Contrary to other comments, I have found this restaurant not expensive at all, we have spent more for dim sum lunch.

They have the best Korean Food and Bibimbap in town. In a nondescript shopping center, you have to be looking for it. Also, the parking is limited close to the restaurant, but extra parking is underneath the center. Separate rooms are conducive for large groups. I took a friend that had never had Korean Food or Bibimbap.Service is great and they are so welling to make your meal special.Food: Amazing and all kinds of extra small dishes brought to the table to try. Daily lunch specials. Check their website for the days they are open and times.
