Stopped at this restaurant during the Blue Ridge Scenic Train ride. The food was very good. The cuban sandwich was large enough for two meals.

Great former military couple and that's all I need to know to support them. Great folks and had some good conversation with great food. Eggs are fresh as is the coffee. I think the coffee was from Athens but I can't recall. Good brew. Hard working couple trying to make a difference making everything fresh. I had the NY bagel egg sandwich and friend got the waffles. I look forward to going back soon.

Enjoy this little restaurant. They keep adding more tables outside, and improving the inside of this location. they have great cuban sandwiches here, and amazing rum cakes!! I love the mini rum cakes and always take some home when I am here. They also make some great empanadas, papa rellenos and desserts. Had a pork bowl and some empanadas this visit. It was excellent as expected.

Located in downtown Blueridge trackside. Serving homemade soups, fresh salads, delicious sandwiches, and mouthwatering desserts. Open 7 days a week.
We stopped in for lunch recently, quickly discovering the best thing about this location---it was open for lunch on Wednesdays. There are an annoyingly large number of restaurants in Blue Ridge which close on Wednesdays. Go figure. In any case, the menu consisted mainly of simple sandwiches and salads. Ours were good, but nothing more than ordinary. They were served in a wax paper lined basket with a bag of potato chips. Soft drinks were medium in size, but no refills were offered by our server.Tables and chairs are quite basic in what felt like a basement. There is little attention to ambience. All in all, our meal felt a bit like a box lunch. This restaurant is OK, but needs to put forth more effort.
