Find out what Bar restaurants to try in Atlanta. Atlanta has been dubbed everything from the "capital of the new South" and "the next international city" to "the best place to do business." It's also a great place to visit. Fueled by the prosperity of local mega companies like Coca Cola and Holiday Inn, the prestige of hosting the 1996 Summer Olympic Games and the energy of young upwardly mobile types who have migrated to the city in droves - Atlanta is on fire. And this time it's a good thing. From world-class restaurants and a myriad of cultural attractions to a hip nightlife and sporting events galore, the city is cosmopolitan in every sense of the word. But Atlanta has also managed to maintain its historic character. Stop by the Atlanta History Center or visit the Martin Luther King Jr. Historical Site, a moving tribute to an American icon. Browse through the former home of famous author Margaret Mitchell or pop into the Jimmy Carter Library and Museum for details on the life and times of the former president and his family. Whether you choose modern urban endeavors or old southern pleasures, Atlanta will not disappoint.

My wife and I had an amazing dinner at BoccaLupo last weekend. We started with the Bruschetta Banh Mi. Sweet and smoky pork belly, flavorful chicken liver and crisp carrots, scallions, and jalapeno sat on lightly toasted bread which soaked up the juices from the toppings nicely. Every bite of this dish was full of rich and fresh flavors. For my main dish I had the Black Spaghetti which was phenomenal! The savory and spicy spaghetti was filled with tender shrimp, flavorful sausage, and crisp scallions. The restaurant also has a nice wine list and a nice selection of local craft beer. Overall, BoccaLupo is now one of my favorite places to get freshly made flavorful pasta.

My buddy wanted to meet here to catch up and obviously give me a surprise, I found the very adult theme refreshing and fun , I was laughing to notice a large wooden phallus inside the door entrance, but overall burger and SW egg rolls were awesom

We love this place, not just because they have good reliable food but because of the location and their outdoor deck. The deck is at the second floor and seems to be built in the tree tops. Great vibe and lighting. Weâll be back next time weâre in town!

Three of us stopped in there for a burger. First we ordered fried Zucchini which was delicious. One of us ordered a burger with tater tots. He said it was good and the tater tots were homemade, crispy and tasty. One person had the Rueben sandwich, which she said was average. I ordered chicken wings cooked extra crispy. They were awful! They were so tough, I couldn't eat them. Also, they had an old chicken, strong flavor. I told the waiter that I could not eat them. He was very nice, but said he could not return them, he would need to get his manager. When she came to our table, she explained that asking for them to be extra crispy made them ineligible for return. I said that I always order them everywhere I go, extra crispy and had never had this problem before. She repeated her statement, I repeated mine, and she finally conceded and said she would make an exception and remove them from our check, to which I replied "thank you". Then, to top it off, as we were waiting for the our check, a different waiter came right behind us to ring up his order. He lifted his arm, and we all jumped up to get away from the horrible body odor. We laughed as we cleared the area quickly. The other lady and I went to the restroom, where we encountered a huge roach. He was right by the door and we were afraid to pass him for fear he would run up our leg. These things, including the charge of $30 to park across the street, made for a very unhappy experience. I will never visit that establishment again.

When you think of BBQ...southerners think pig...Texans think cow...Californians think anything cooked outside on a grill. Being from Atlanta I love Fox Bros! The pulled pork is excellent. The brisket is amazing. I have tried many of their menu offerings over the past few years. I always start with the smoked chicken wings! Out of this world! The pulled pork is juicy, tender and full of flavor. The brisket and chopped brisket burger are really good as well for those who want Texas BBQ! The burger is chopped brisket with pimento cheese, onion and pickle. For sides the frito pie, collards and baked beans are my favorites. The service is wonderful. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and both the indoor and outdoor seating are great. You have to know the windows of opportunity to avoid the lines but the wait is worth it. The only real issue is parking but much of that is due to the neighborhood behind the restaurant which blocks them from adding more spaces. You know a place is good when you have to wait and there is limited parking. Allow yourself a little time and enjoy the experience.

GET the smoked old fashioned. Trust me!Highlight of our trip! You will have to get the code from one of the major hotels. We got ours at the Hilton. This is a old speakeasy smoking bar. So if you don't like smoke this is not the place for you. They have a humidor there and many options to pick from. The bartenders are amazing and really know their craft. It takes time to make some of these very involved drinks, but oh so worth it.We are thrilled to hear how much you enjoyed yourself at Red Phone Booth. We appreciate your spreading the word with this review. Come back next time you are in Atlanta!

Set in a stone house, this eclectic bar/restaurant offers burgers, sushi & a patio with park views.
Waiting in the rain started off on a sour note. Finally moving to the upstairs dining room changed that immediately, The buffet line was nearly empty and such a sumptuous array of food,Salmon, eggs Benedict, cheese grits, potatoes, green beans, fried chicken. Then fruit, salads, ceasar, chicken were all delicious. Dessert table had Mimosas, coffee, orange juice. Ceiling to floor airy white curtains make it very cheerful. Waiters cleared immediately. Excellent food. Will be dreaming about it.
