Stopped in here while traveling. Just wanted some awesome seasoned fries, but needed a sandwich too.I chose well. One hot dog. For exactly $1. Wow. It was *totally* worth it. Each of the 5 bites was thoroughly enjoyed. The ketchup and mustard worked perfectly. So my meal was 3 dollars and change for a hot dog and small fries. Score!

I swung by to try out the Short Rib Sandwich, and enjoyed it profusely with my headphones on to avoid listening to the loud sermon full of bigotry and vile spewing from the sound system. While Iâve learned to tolerate the Southâs addiction to terrible contemporary religious music in eateries, actually being surrounded by such filth made me question their sanitation rating. Eww.Definitely a drive-thru option, unless youâre into that kind of thing, then enjoy.
Bojangles' began in 1977 and saw an opportunity to develop a quick-service restaurant chain based on three attributes: a distinctive flavor profile; wholesome, high-quality products made from scratch; and a fun, festive restaurant design with fast, friend
We love Bojangles and will stop in different cities to grab breakfast and especially the biscuits. We were traveling with friends and wanted to introduce them to Bojangles. Much to our surprise after we all ordered sausage egg biscuits, they were so soaked in butter that you couldn't even eat them. They were salty tasting because of the butter. My husband went to counter to ask for one that wasn't that way and when he brought it back to table, it was the same, soaked in butter. I guess we should have said something to the manager, because we know Bojangles have good biscuits. Whoever was doing the baking just got carried away with it. Other than that, the place was clean and staff friendly.

We enjoyed the Sunday buffet - typical but good and fresh country choices. I thoroughly enjoyed the fried fish and hushpuppies. Worth the ride south from Thomson.
Typically donât review fast food because you usually know what youâre getting if they are consistent. But the service here is to be commended. Miss Patricia always greets us and brings our pup, Cooper an extra treat. Great addition to our travel thru Thomson.

We read reviews and decided to give this place a try. The service was great and the staff very friendly. We ordered chicken, ribs and bbq. All were excellent but the dry rub smoked ribs were outstanding. Donât arrive late on Sat and expect them to have ribs. Around 5:30 we got the last of the ribs for the day. We were very pleased. This is a simple bbq restaurant with plastic forks and styrofoam trays and cups but the bbq is great and it does not have to be complicated or fancy to be good.

Ivery's was recommended by our hotel as a place for a nice family Sunday lunch buffet. It did not disappoint. Located downtown in the redeveloped area near the old train depot. Unassuming exterior, but clean, neat and very friendly. Three different rooms with plenty of seating options. We all had the buffet, and it included a variety of traditional southern cooking options...including salad, mac & cheese, cornbread, okra, butter beans, turkey, chicken and many other items, and a very fine peach cobbler for dessert. Matched it up with some iced tea, and we were a happy bunch.

Thomson's history is closely tied to the Georgia Railroad. The city was named after the famous John Edgar Thomson, chief engineer of the Georgia Railroad system. Also, Thomson was well-known for completing the 173 mile long railroad from Augusta to Martha

the food is okay. good country cooking but they could improve on their portions that they serve. I got boiled okra and it was six pieces. 6! pricey for such small portions. like $12 but not much food.Hello! I am so sorry that you had a bad experience =( and will do all I can to make it right!! We were traveling through southern Georgia yesterday and wanted to stop for a casual dinner. Hogie Joe's did not disappoint us. We loved the brick interior walls and casual atmosphere. The restrooms were clean. Our waitress was Katie, and she was very attentive. I ordered nachos and my friend ordered a cheeseburger. Both meals were delicious, and we ate every bite. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for great food, great service, and a unique southern atmosphere. The cost was reasonable. We were very pleased with our choice for dinner.
