While Atlanta is the anchor and capital of Georgia, you can aim in any direction to find distinctly different regions – from the tail of the Appalachians in the North to the rolling Piedmont hills and on down to the seaside marshes in the East. Atlanta lays claim to the state’s number one attraction – Stone Mountain State Park. They say it best - “Serious fun. Endless adventure.” Just 15 minutes from downtown, the world’s largest exposed granite dome is surrounded by 3,200 acres of natural beauty and stimulating activities for every member of the family – sky rides and hiking paths, laser shows and pedal boats along Stone Mountain Lake. Golfers tee it up, while red foxes dash across the fairways in a state where the Masters Golf Tournament creates revered green-jacket memories every year. It’s a long downhill ride down to historic Savannah, a ‘stone’s throw’ from the Atlantic and a virtual step back in time to Southern architecture and stately squares. St. Simon’s and Jekyll Islands offer barrier island beauty and a wonderful combination of outdoor activities, historic sites and artistic culture. Originally the private winter playground of wealthy northeasterners, Jekyll Island stretches along 10 miles of coastal beaches and inland marshes. Cycling and walking paths wind under moss-laden oaks, and a tour of Millionaire Village takes you back to those Cornelius Vanderbilt and J.P. Morgan days. The kid-friendly Summer Waves Water Park adds man-made fun to natural water sport activities. Coastal golf courses and sophisticated St. Simon’s Island appeal to moms, dads and vacationing couples.

We’re your ideal natural environment mixed with your favorite hotel experience; just an hour south of Atlanta & surrounded by Mother Nature. There’s a variety of lodging options available that can sleep large families/groups. Enjoy our uncommon amenities that you won’t find at a typical campsite. Some of these include concierge service, complimentary Wi-Fi, coffee, beer & wine bar, saline swimming pool, activities pavilion, bark park, GoPet and bicycle rentals, fitness center, and game room.
Stayed here for the first time and will certainly stay here again. Nice clean grounds and facilities. Trash pick up at your site. Big lots. Nearly all are concrete. Cable has plenty of channels but the reception wasn’t real good. But I haven’t been to a camp ground that does have great reception

Enjoy historic central Georgia at one of the best RV parks in Georgia - the family-owned, EASY ACCESS Twin Oaks RV Park. The park is nestled between snowy white cotton fields and majestic pecan orchards. We are conveniently located 2/10 mile EAST off of I-75 at Mile Marker 127, 8 miles south of downtown Perry, near many area attractions such as the Georgia National Fairgrounds & Agricenter, the Warner Robins Air Museum, Andersonville Civil War Site & Museum, Home of Jimmy Carter and much more.
We stayed at Twin Oaks on our way to Florida for a wedding (3/30/22) and on our way back on 4/17/22. The check in process was easy and the pull through sites were extremely easy to get into. The map was marked to show how to depart on our check out day. The WiFi was great; we used it for streaming. The dog park was clean and our dogs loved it. We used the showers on our return trip. They were spotless and spacious. The bottom line is we needed a place to stay overnight on both legs of our trip and Twin Oaks was perfect. We will always stay at this park in the future.

This place is only good for overnight stay not worth the money. Dog park is horrible, fly's everywhere around the Dog Park maybe because of the goats. Looks like a place for out of town worker's, and those who have no where else to go. Not for me place.

This magical place is truly something special and a hidden little gem. I felt it the moment I arrived. The grounds are a nature lovers delight! The waterfalls on the property are beautiful and the river that runs along the grounds is something rare to find. It’s an awesome hiking spot with tons of trails, and terrain and location is very unique. I think one of my favorite things about it is, nature is very untouched here so I can get lost in the authentic surroundings. I stayed in a cabin and I loved the rustic cozy feel with a fireplace and fire pit outside. I have been coming here for a few years now and it has a lot to offer. The staff has always been very kind and helpful. I love the fact that it’s not one of those corporate owned nature resorts that has lost its charm. My sister had so much fun with the animals on the property and we had such a good time being able to combine peaceful relaxation with lots of activity depending on what we were wanting at the moment. I have recommend it to lots of people I know when they are going to North Georgia. For me, I come to North Georgia to go to Enota. Bring a water bottle because it has some of the tastiest water you will ever drink!

River's End is Tybee Island's only campground. We are 3 blocks to the beach and 16 miles from historic Savannah. We offer campsites for tent campers, RV's and we have cabin rentals. See you under the oaks!
Bays too close together with no privacy. Bathrooms include toilet, shower and sink in same room which is grose and are not enough for such heavy traffic. Not serviced on a daily basis. Floors and curtains dingy and moldy, especially in bathhouse close to main office.

Cavender Creek's quality cabins are set in the breathtaking natural beauty of the North Georgia Mountains and blend a rustic setting with luxurious accommodations to create a variety of unique atmospheres that will please even the most demanding guest.
We had a wonderful time. We stayed in cabin 6. It was cute and cozy and close to everything we wanted to see. The complex was beautiful. We enjoyed watching the deer from our cabin in the mornings and evenings. The only down side was the worn out mattress. We did not sleep well.

We were traveling from Florida to New Hampshire. Stopped here for two nights to take in a day in Savannah. This place is awesome. Clean, easy in easy out sites. Lake view, cabins, furnished deluxe cabins, something for everyone. We had a pop up. Hook ups provided, such amazing customer service. Coming back for sure.

The owners, PJ and Louie are by far the best hosts/owners we have ever encountered while RV’g. It’s no surprise that they are the reason why this campground is so highly rated. The campground is clean/spotless. Our site, 5, was level and just long enough for our 32’ class C motorhome and tow vehicle. We would’ve liked a little more shade, but it was shaded after 4pm. The campground is about 5 miles from town and 25 minutes to Helen, Ga. In Hiawassee, there is a grocery store, restaurants, antique shops, post office, fast food, and a brewery. There is a nice winery 5 miles from the campground. During our stay the campground had: Line Dancing lessons, Karaoke, and live music on Saturday night (Louise even delivered free ice cream to those in attendance). The campground is very peaceful & quiet and a family atmosphere. The Wifi is good and my wife was able to work while we were there. Over The Air TV is very limited (5 channels). We had one minor issue during our stay which was addressed and resolved immediately by the owners. I only mention this to give you an example of the outstanding ownership here at the campground. We plan to return to this campground and highly recommend a stay here.

Historic Georgia heartland hidden gem - Pet Friendly RV Park and Campground - rental cabin and house - Large sites to accommodate big rigs - 5 fishing ponds (no license required) - 5 well-maintained walking trails, 112 wooded acres - Saltwater swimming pool - Club house and playground - Open year round - Just south of historic Milledgeville, 12 mi from Lake Sinclair - 30 mi from Macon, 1 1/2 hours from Atlanta
We stayed 2 months and if not for my medical issues would have been there for a long time. Kathrine is a wonderful and thoughtful manager. Wayne who is in charge of the maintenance of the park is always a phone call away and does his best to help the park residents or travelers with maintenance issues. Cynthia is such a sweetheart and enjoyed our talks - she helps out in the office and keeps the bath house and laundry area clean. I will miss all the guys who work to keep the park clean, supply the doggy stations with bags, pick up our trash and even fill gas tanks. Maybe I will be able to return but I wanted to give this review to all who work. Again Kathrine that you for always being so thoughtful.

The cabin was great. A perfect mountain escape from all the hustle and bustle! Great service. Easy to access with paved roads all the way to the driveway. Even with snow and a Winter storm I never lost power and stayed cozy with the fire. My family would have loved the cabin, though this was a solitary trip. I would rent again with above the rest without a second thought. My only suggestion would be to have a full sized couch in the living room instead of a love seat. Would have loved to stretch out in front of the fire!
