The paranthas and naan is to die for, and yummilicious Dal Maharani. The staff is polite and helpful. Definitely will visit again.

Four of us went for dinner , As vegetarians , we could find few items in the menu Ordered few things , The Nan, Roti were very thick and hard , The side dishes very sweetish , may be changed to European taste, Auantity were very little for almost 20 Euro plate Very dark space , crumbled , not a great ambience for that price , Need to provide better indian ness in to it , A small faiths along a Biryani plate was highly insufficient and need to order another raitha , Roti was burnt too much and needed replacement ,

Fine Indian Cuisine
We ate here on a holiday weekend when many other restaurants were closed. The service was good (a little overbearing). There was no wine list - waiter offered three white wines and three red wines - no indication of price. We enjoyed the vegetable samosa. The chicken vindaloo was very bland - no spice, and the lamb madras was marginally better. I don't believe the meat was cooked in the sauce - tasted like it was added at the last minute. The naan bread was not made in a tandoori oven - more like lebanese bread toasted under the grill. I glad we booked through tripadvisor and got a 30% discount as it was expensive for the tiny size of the servings. It was also really off putting to see an Uber eats driver deliver McDonalds to the kitchen!

The menu has been designed keeping in mind the ingredients that go very well together. We had the bhel appetizer which reminded me of being in the streets of India to taste the street food. For main course, we ordered the chicken with aubergine sauce (highly recommend), prawns curry, garlic naan and chicken biryani, Mango Lassi. For dessert, we ordered the gulab jamun and kulfi and finished it off with authentic chai.Amazing meal great service, very good location (inside the Mandarin Oriental Hotel) and walking distance if you are staying close to Jet D'Eau.Would highly recommed it.Cheers!

As an indian family vacationing in geneva we were looking for some good indian food and found this place with good reviews after eating at "Bombay" restaurant the night before (which was better due to prompt and attentive service along with larger portions for same price). The service of little india was overall ok, the decor and ambience of the restaurant was great and they had a cool cocktail menu and overall vibe. The food had good taste but the vegetarian menu was small and the portions even smaller. normally get two curries four breads and a rice for four people and had very little curry left when we got to the rice at the end. definitely a place to try if you want decent indian food while in geneva but there are definitely other restaurants to try, namely Bombay.

We went on a Friday night and luckily we had booked because the restaurant was very busy with lots of people also queuing for takeaways. The starters of sheeh kebabs and onion baji were fine and for the main the korma was good and the chicken jalfrezi was great!!! The only problem was the mixed vegetables which were just potatoes - come on Shalimar, we expect vegetables in mixed vegetables!! Nevertheless this was a nice meal and it made a good first impression. I think I'll be back again for the jalfrezi - nice and spicy with a good kick to it.Hi Man_From_GenevaItâs great you love our food. We are committed to giving our customers the best of fresh traditional Indian food. This means our restaurant does become quite busy. We are working tirelessly to give our customers the fresh quality food the want and yes Iâd always advise to book in advance. I will however look into our mixed vegetables dish and look at ways of improving. Hopefully we can get that 5 star review the next time you visit.
