I have been here twice with my friend in the past 6 months. Twice we enjoyed a perfect lunch. We tried out most of the types of 'uitsmijters'. All very very tasty, good bread, three fried eggs, accompanied by good salads. Staff is great and helpful.

This restaurant has changed owners and has a good new mix. The atmosphere is delightful and the staff fast and attentive although all very young. The food is not that special but still good. The combination of simple good food with a more than average environment makes it a success.

Seeing as we were staying here and the breakfast was good we decided to have dinner. One steak so over cooked it could have bounced, the other steak was raw!. The 'Fletchers' burger was some cheap sausage mince with a dead lettuce leaf and served on a very dirty wooden board. The steak was served on a sloppy wet splash of mashed potato. We only had 'butter' knives to cut them with. Our 'dame blanche' dessert was like some cheap no name brand vanilla ice-cream with a supermarket brand chocolate sauce, and the 'biscuit' on the side was inedible, hard and tasteless. The aqua plate it was served on had a huge crack through it that lead out to the big chip out of the side of it, should have been put in the bin.Very overpriced for the quality of the meal. We did not eat there again during our stay and would not recommend the food. The restaurant itself has lovely quaint dutch decor and if only the food was better!
