Hotel De Prince in Nijmegen offers you a modern accommodation in lovely historical buildings on different locations on the oldest shopping street of The Netherlands, de Lange Hezelstraat. Our Hotel is right in the city centre, in a pedestrian area. Our guests have a 24 hour access with their own keys to the building in which their room is situated. Above the various shops, rooms are located on the first, second or third floor. The monumental buildings all originally have typically Dutch steep and winding stairs. Breakfast is served at our Restaurant “Sixty-Four” which is also situated on nr 44 in the Lange Hezelstraat. Our staff is always open to any diet wishes you might have as your breakfast is freshly made.
We stayed in this lovely hotel with our 3 children, we took a family room which was very spacious with 2 shower rooms . The room was very tastefully decorated and comfortable. In the morning there was a very wide variety of breakfast foods , some lovely breads and pastries and also cereals , eggs and fruit . The hotel is in a great location, near lots of lovely places for lunch and also the park and a 15 minute walk to the railway station.

Hotel Café Restaurant De Ploeg is located in the beautiful new center of Varsseveld. We are a small and personal hotel. Our hotel offers nine double rooms. The rooms are flexible, a double bed or two single beds is possible. All rooms are equipped with the following up-to-date facilities:- A spacious bathroom with underfloor heating- Adjustable air conditioning- Boxspring beds- Digital TV- Free internet (both wireless and wired)The hotel has an elevator.
For a hotel in a small rural town with only nine rooms, this lodging was remarkably well-appointed and comfortable hotel. The bed was very comfortable & had reading lights, there was a small safe,& plenty of plugs for recharging. The restaurant had an inviting, relaxed atmosphere and very tasty food. It was clearly popular with locals. The staff was outstanding in their friendliness and casual efficiency. They went out of their way to anticipate our needs and help us find my ancestors' farm. This hotel is a gem, much nicer and better appointed than many places I've stayed throughout the world that were more costly and well-known.

These type of bars/cafes are becoming rare. A typical dutch ' bruin cafe' with wodden dark classic interior, a lot of memorabilia on the walls, small snacks like the tostis and friendly staff. Right in the centre of Steenderen at the marketplace next to the church.

Entrance is in the restaurant, so can be a bit confusing. Entry is only until 2200, so be on time if coming from far away. Dinner is ok, but not extensive choice. Rooms are based on two floors. Breakfast buffet is nice and well stocked. Plenty of local products. Starting time of breakfast is only at 0730, so not for early birds.

On the occasion of our 57th wedding anniversary, we booked a two-night package including breakfast and a three- and four-course dinner respectively. At our request, a culinary four-course dinner has been prepared for this special day at a modest additional cost. Every course of our culinary dinner, prepared by Chef Ronald Gebbinck and Sous Chef Joey Veltink, deserves a star reward, just as delicious and tasty as the dishes were. Despite the precautions for Corona, the room service was perfect, each subsequent course was not served until we decided to do so. Our room with garden terrace was spacious and cozy and the surroundings of the Boutique Hotel are ideal for walking and cycling. The service was generally friendly, attentive and caring, highly recommended for celebrating a special occasion.

We stayed here during July 2020. The sundown at the beach is beautiful, and also nice little piers close by to all the houses. Friendly staff, restaurant with view to the velouwemeer. House well cleaned.

If you aren't pretentious, and don't mind sleeping in the central building of a farm-based campsite, in a spacious room, without carpets on the floor, affording a large, comfortable bed, and having a clean ensuite, without soap being provided in the shower, room, on inclusive terms that provide a wholesome continental breakfast served by the owner and his very young daughter, then this is worth the effort, especially if you are on business and in need of peace & quiet outside of the holiday season! The room comes with a fully functioning TV and free use of the wifi. Will be sure to stay there again whenever I revisit this part of the Netherlands!
