A recent trip up to Johannesburg we went for a friends birthday to Lucioâs. I have been hearing of these pizzaâs for awhile now as some of my friends frequent this institution quite a lot. Service was great. Not just one waiter is assigned to a table. All the waiters work together making sure the patrons have enough beverages and food at any time. The pizza was amazing. The decor of the restaurant boast awesome paintings and art. I highly recommend LucioâsThank you so very much Zelda for your awesome review, rating and recommendation.All these wonderful reviews make me feel so proud of my waitrons, kitchen ladies and managers. They are a wonderful team.

This restaurant has been our go to for family dining at Monte for awhile.We always order the delicious piping hot mozzarella cheese, garlic and herbs focaccia for starters.I have tried the various dishes of lasagne, the marsala chicken breasts, the chicken schnitzel with crispy bacon, peppadews and cheese sauce, the grilled kingklip with lemon butter sauce and the peri lemon sauce prawns - all have been very good.Other great meals enjoyed by the family: vegetarian pizza, grilled kingklip romana, beer batter hake, half chicken and prawns as well as the rib & lamb chops.The food is always served piping hot, portions are generous and good value. The service is on point by the efficient waiters and managers.

I walked around the Firs looking in at all the restaurants and I immediately noticed the alert, interactive watrons and a lovely ambiance.I'm glad I chose to eat at Doppios Zero, the staff are friendly, helpful and assertive, When you ask for advice, they give it boldly- KUDOS!they know their menu and they keep their eye on you without being intrusive- KUDOS!Maybe many others also offer excellent food, but its the experience overall that counts in points.My pasta dish was very hot, on a hot plate, as pasta must be and the advice on choice from my watron Collen, was 100% spot on.I could see most patrons were also really enjoying the evening- the food, service, company- ambiance.

A cold and rainy night in Johannesburg? Easily rectified by a visit to the local Italian restaurant in Craighall, Pronto, for some hearty and delicious pasta. This firm favourite deserves its place as one of our go-to restaurants. Consistent quality and excellent service explain the full tables every night. We chose Linguine; Dolce Latte for him, and chicken with spinach, rocket and pine nuts for me. Both were creamy, flavorful and delicious. A ricotta salad completed the feast. First time visit to an unpretentious Bistro and Deli in Craighall. Top notch food, excellent service and relaxed atmosphere makes ensures that we will return soon! My wife had the prawns and said that they were amongst the best she had tasted. Our guest had Scottish Salmon which foo was excellent. I had a bacon cheeseburger with fries which was very good, the restaurant has a wide restaurant and buzz. Highly recommended- we will return soon!

Unusually, Francoâs doesnât charge corkage on the first bottle of wine you bring. Isnât that nice! This cosy restaurant has good food at plain prices, a lovely homely atmosphere, no pretentions and pleasant, ordinary, unfussy South African service. Nothing special, just a hearty enjoyable meal in lovely company at a reasonable price. What more could you want.

Tasty breakfast very well prepared, excellent service, good coffee (will ask for extra large cup next time). Definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended- but be sure to get there early. It is a smallish venue, and popular. Creamy mushrooms - to die for!
