The place was very busy when we got there. The music was blarring inside. It was so loud we could not have a conversation. We couldnt even hear the words as music was so distorted. We had 2 smash burgers one beef and one chicken. The shredded chicken burger they first made when the restaurant opened was way way better than the latest chicken fillet. It was sadly tasteless. As usual the chips and milkshakes were out of this world amazing. However we couldnt wait to get out of there. We where served by 3 different waiters during our visit. It was hard to know who to leave the tip too. Honestly i wont ever go back as that music ruined the whole outing. There were various age groups dinning there. As part of our stay at the Four Seasons, we took the opportunity to dine at the View. We were not disappointed. The 5-course tasting menu with local wine pairing was exquisite. Each course was masterfully assembled and the combination of ingredients and textures was amazing. The service was very attentive and so friendly - we felt very well taken care of. We will no doubt visit here again and recommend this restaurant highly. Creative menu that will satisfy any foodie, making use of seasonal/local ingredients, presented beautifully by a chef who obviously takes pride in his work. He made a point of visiting our table when we arrived. We stayed at the hotel and liked the food so much we ate at the restaurant every night rather than venturing out. Tasty breakfast very well prepared, excellent service, good coffee (will ask for extra large cup next time). Definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended- but be sure to get there early. It is a smallish venue, and popular. Creamy mushrooms - to die for!

Salvation Cafe never disappoints - food and service always great. We waited minutes for a table at this very busy restaurant and were seated the trees . The restaurant is vibrant, busy, and extremely popular.The calamari was declared to be the best ever as were the burgers and my chicken Caesar salad was delicious. Great ingredients and great service. Fantastic lunch spot in jhb.

We visited Mad Giant Brewery and Urbanologi for fathers day lunch.On arrival the dads were give a free draft beer which was a good start!The menu was very interesting with lots of choices, servings are reasonably sized so we could mix and match orders as we wanted to try out the various choices.Service was very good and all the staff were very friendly and helpful.All round a great place for lunch and will definitely be back again to enjoy the location and the good food and service.Menu prices are reasonable with a good price range.

Compared to common quality on cafës in South African parks and gardens this was bad experience.Our sandwiches (tuna mayo and chicken mayo) were rather tasteless and portions were rather small. Really little tuna and chicken.Waiter had not his best day. Made mistakes also on other tables, as we had time to watch due slow service.Thank-you for bringing this to our attention and enabling us to investigate unacceptable standards. A great pity I did not get to attend to your problem during your visit, but I do hope to have the pleasure of meeting you in the future.
