As its name suggests, Fin & Fillet tastefully and tastily combines the best of land and sea into an eclectic dining experience, amidst relaxed, comfortable and welcoming surroundings. Our friendly, professional staff want nothing more than to delight dine
Lovely first impression, great decor. Comfy seating. Well turned out waitrons. Service was good. We had rib eye with a choice of starch, salad or veg, very nicely done. Skinny lamb chops were nice but tasted of braai spice. They should have perhaps been done in olive oil, lemon, garlic and oregano to be authentically Greek. Lovely French fries. The bill was on the pricey side for what we ate. Will probably go back.Thank you for the review, and we appreciate the suggestions!

A week ago I had lunch with my brother and my husband at John Dory's Greenstone. My husband was so happy to see that the menu also had steaks, etc, while my brother and I ordered the fish. The menu also managed to satisfy all three of us with the sides on offer. The food came well prepared in line with our order, so the time was enjoyed by all three of us.Very much adding to the relaxing atmosphere is the flute player in the court just outside of the restaurant - he played such amazing music!Hello richarddonaldc,Thank you for reviewing our John Dory's Greenstone restaurant. Delivering great food and service is what we live for - glad you experienced just that! We look forward to welcoming you and your family back again soon. Kind regards,John Dory's

Founded in 2000, Yamitsuki introduced the concept of Japanese style cuisine, presented to customers via a unique conveyor belt system. The experience was fun and exciting while the food was revolutionary. Yamitsuki became a market leader in sushi restaura
This restaurant came highly recommended by a few friends and I decided to try it out. Ordered a take away of the chicken noodles and some sushi. The sushi was average and the chicken noodles were completely burnt. Waste of time and money. Deffinately not worth the drive there or the money spent.

My local works colleagues had reserved a large table by the window for a mid week evening dinner at the Villa Bianca recently. Parking is for free outside, just off the road. In fact there is nothing special about this area - seemed rather a strange location for a high class restaurant but it was, nonetheless doing a brisk trade on the evening that we were there.Getting the drinks in with a crowd of around a dozen diners was a bit of a challenge but our dedicated waitress did her best - very successfully in fact. I followed her recommendation and had a Jack Blacks draught beer to start off with. As we were about to order our food from the extensive and very comprehensive menu of mixed international offerings (Italian, Chinese, Japanese, South African etc.), our waitress returned to cite a plethora of extra specials in glorious detail. Wow. What a memory. As it was I went for the snails as a starter - swimming in delicious garlic butter. And for the main course I went for steak served with a blue cheese sauce and an avocado on top. It was served with cooked vegetables. I left the choice of the wines to the local experts. We started with a bottle ofPinotage Kanonkop 2016 and then followed that with a bottle of Merlot Meerlust 2015.Some of us had desserts. I didn't. I was full and very satisfied. This is truly a restaurant that I can thoroughly recommend.
