We came through for the picnic on Saturday and I just wanted to thank you and your staff for making it such a wonderful and memorable experience! The menu was fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed everything! A few of the standout items were the breads (so wonderfully fresh), the pate, tapenade and dressing were very tasty, the brownies were a wonderful treat and of course the prawns were delicious and left us wanting more! The picnic basket itself was neatly packed and a real treat to be surprised when opening each container to see what was inside â loved that! The area and setup was very relaxing and the sound of the water streaming by made it very peaceful. We both appreciated that the area was private and quiet, it made it that much more special.Michael was our waiter and was very friendly and went the extra mile with bringing us extra ice for our champagne â real 5 star servicing, as we have come to get used to at Forum Homini. It was a great experience - highly recommend!

The Other Side Restaurant on Monaghan Farm, Johannesburg, is a beautiful setting and has lots of play areas for children. However, the food (a buffet) was not up to standard - at R255 per person, I expected a lot better and tastier food. The beef (sirloin) was tough and inedible, the salads tasty but not a great variety. Desert was rather tasteless. The service was not good - the busier it got, the worse the service. The chairs are hard and the tables are ex-army tables. Not impressive!

This place promotes itself as a premium restaurant. Don't be fooled by the fake advertising. Its noisy and overpriced. We went for an evening with business partners. We could hardly talk to each other as the noise level in the restaurant as determined by a Cell noise level app was 86 decibels. That's like sitting by a very noisy road. The food was very average. My T-Bone stake was nothing more than a Rump with bone on two sides. Roast potatoes were soggy and the puree completely missing. All this for R350.00!! Rip off. When I complained to the floor manager he simply did not comprehend that a T-Bone stake should have meat on both sides of the T.The cutlery on the tables was basic canteen standard. I would have had a better experience at a franchise restaurant at a third of the price.

RocoMamas Fourways is all about building the best Smash Burgers, serving mofo wings and getting messy with some serious ribs.
Visited my cousins in SA a few years back and they took me and my mum here. Service was a bit slow and it was crowded, but when we got that food boy did it hit. Definitely try it out if you're a sensible person and don't eat McDonald's, lol. It is a bit pricey as I recall tho, so make sure you watch your tab when ordering.Well, the customer is always right, and in this case, we'd have to say you're clearly an expert on good food! We can't wait to have you back again soon.Cheers,Robyn
Wildwood Brasserie is a tranquil country venue located on the banks of the Crocodile River with pristine views, ideal for picnics, weddings and outdoor events. Our relaxing atmosphere is a must with great tasty food ice cold craft beer and chilled wines.
This place is horrible. Went there for a business meeting and was shocked at the state of the place. It's cracking everywhere and looks like maintenance hadn't been done in centuries. The female toilets are a health hazard, thinking of calling the health inspector for that. There is fungi growing there. The place doesn't cater for people with specific dietary requirements and service is poor. There is even a scrap yard on the premises. A no no for me!

Designed with the mild Highveld weather in mind, The Kitchen at Lâantico Giardino in Lanseria, offers the perfect alfresco atmosphere to enjoy wholesome farm-to-table food while relaxing under the dappled shade of a canopy of trees.
Small and beautiful outdoor setting, helpful and attentive staff. The lady serving us was obviously still training but was being assisted and helped by an experienced member of staff. Food was delicious. Small children need supervision as there are lots of open ponds and an uncovered (empty) swimming pool not in view of the restaurant.
