Start off the evening with a gin cocktail in the comfy lounge immediately next door (though they are rather too keen to explain every aspect of every cocktail in some detail) and then head through for a relaxed, friendly dining experience. Staff were knowledgeable,efficient and friendly. The deal is you pay a minimum cover charge per head, which gives each of you three tapas dishes and then if you need more you pay for each additional plate. Food was generally excellent - the ostrich and lamb were highlights - though the fish dishes weren't quite as good as the others. Some innovative combinations of flavours and textures and a nice twist of South African ingredients with Spanish style. Good wine selection and a really nice atmosphere.

My wife Gillian and I had the privilege of experiencing the unique Italian cheese flaming wheel pasta last night which was absolutely awesome. Tasty, delicious and delectable. Service was extremely friendly and prompt especially the chef who prepares the meal at your table. Delightful, happy and funny. Turned out his name is Happy. The host was lovely and made us feel so welcome. An incredible vibe throughout the evening prevailed. Definitely worth a visit. The meal was also not expensive.

Great spot for a nice relaxed and proper Portuguese meal. Service is always good and the food never dissapoints. Thursday Espatada day is great and really great value for money. Will keep returning as I have done for many years.

Duke's is one of the few places I have been to that have a wide variety of exciting vegetarian and vegan burgers. Their regular burgers are also spectacular and gluten free options available! Choose from generous portions of traditional fries, potato wedges, sweet potato crisps or salad. Cocktails and wonderfully indulgent alcoholic milkshakes!Everything made fresh on the premises. Funky atmosphere and even suitable for a romantic dinner out. I have visited many times and the quality and service is consistently excellent! Well worth a visit!

We wanted to treat ourself to a bit of a night out, and Craft didnât disappoint, we had 1 starter, 2 mains, 1 dessert and 2 double G&Tâs and the bill was over R1000. So it is a bit pricey, dessert was great! Mains was good, but by far the best was out waitress. Sadly I canât remember her name, but she was excellent!

I used to go to Foundry but they changed the food menu.Itâs still a nice pub with great atmosphere, good choice of beers and drinks but unfortunately they changed the food menu. While before was a great place for a dinner (I still remember the lamb shank + ostrich fillet), it now serves more tapas e finger food dishes with a relatively small option of main courses.

This old dame never disappoints. There is certainly a reason they have been around for so long. Maintaining the charm of a 60s/70s steakhouse. The waiting staff to management radiate old school warm, family hospitality. The food is certainly better than most fancy, trendy steakhouses in JHB. Their ribs are the star of the show. Ribs you will be craving soon after your 1st visit. Even their side dishes are pure comfort. If you feel like a starter before the gigantic rib portion, the prawn cocktail took me on a stroll down memory lane. Simple but delicious. The desserts will ring a few bells too! Will be back again and again. Saul, our waiter, was a gem. Donât know why all restaurants cannot maintain this kind of service and passion amongst staff. Winning formula.
