Fancourt par excellence once again

Completed my 7th trip to Fancourt in April 2022 and have already booked to return in April 2023. The 500 series luxury rooms provide prefect accommodation with all the facilities and amenities one could wish for. Also, the La Cantina restaurant is the perfect place to eat with both breakfast and dinner a treat. The choices available are wide enough to cater for most palettes and the service from the staff in both the morning and evening was particularly memorable and my thanks to all who made my stay most enjoyable once again. Also. the golf courses are in great condition and my thanks to Dustin who was my caddie for all 8 games and who was able to keep me right on reading the greens. Hopefully we will be able to join forces again next year.

Long drive from Cape Town, but definitely worth while!

Ive just returned from a 4 night stay in a luxury suite at GRGL with fantastic views over the reserve. It was amazing from start to finish! I think we stayed a little longer than most guests, but every day was something different. Firstly I'd like to thank the superb restaurant staff, each and everyone of the restaurant team are simply the best restaurant staff we've experienced who couldn't do more to improve our stay. Also not to mention the food itself! The 4 day rotating menu will keep you spoilt for choice, however I did go back to the rump steak as it was hands downthe best meal I had in SA. Now onto the game drives, we had two guides on our stay Natasha & Kathy, both where excellent at what they do. Both guides had a different style to how they run a game drive, but both where super passionate about there job and their enthusiasm really comes across. We also took the opportunity to go on a bush picnic & a private game walk, these experiences where definitely worth it. They give us the chance to learn a more about the smaller things that may be missed on the big game drives. We really loved our time at GRGL, hopefully we will get the chance to return again.

Super clean room, friendly service, beachfront and super service

I booked the accommodation through booking.com. five minutes before arriving. The check-in was seamless, I called the front desk and was shown the entrance to the private parking. I got help with my luggage. The room was clean, with a spacious bathroom and a comfortable double bed. It was equipped with shelves and clothes rack, providing travellers all they need. Wifi was very stable and breakfast was good. At the common area, free coffee and tea are provided. I find the common area good for solo travellers to mingle with other travellers.
