We do not stay in hotels regularly but hotel prices to just get a nights rest is expensive. So we try to find a value hotel which we feel BWP fits that category. The things in the room are good (bed, shower, tv etc.) but the room itself needs help (wallpaper coming off, drywall needing repair, tiles cracked, areas around shower with moisture damage). I would also think to help their customers they could (on slow off nights) put a empty room between customers to help in the noise department

Katrina working in the breakfast area is the friendliest of any hotel that I've been to. Always asking in a cheerful manner if I need anything. The smile on her face every morning makes the mornings much more enjoyable. Keep up the great work Katrina as you are a jewel!

The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in over thirty years of staying in hotels. It’s disgusting, unclean, hot and loud. I can’t leave early enough. Avoid at all costs. First time I’ve ever posted. That bad.

Older place but well cared for. Pool looked wonderful but thunderstorms ruined that plan. Staff pleasant and very helpful. Did not do the breakfast, so cannot comment on that. We got a room with a kitchenette, that was nice. The shower head is very low, not a problem for me, but my 6 foot + son had to duck. Only suggestion, you may want to clean the floor a little better, feet got rather black after walking barefoot.

Red Roof Inn Gadsden is one of the best budget hotels in Gadsden, AL that is right off of US 411 for an easy drive to downtown Gadsden. We are also near Jacksonville State University, Gadsden State Community College, The Venue at Coosa Landing, Twin Bridges Golf Club, Gadsden Country Club, Wills Creek Country Club, Noccalula Falls Park, James D. Martin Wildlife Park, Imagination Place, Gadsden Mall, Gadsden Museum of Art, Alabama International Dragway and Jacksonville Medical Center. We offer our guests free Wi-Fi, a seasonal swimming pool and a guest coin laundry facility. Red Roof Inn Gadsden is a pet-friendly hotel.
When we travel with our dog, our choices of accommodation is confined to those properties in the "pet friendly" category. That said, our expectations are for a very basic clean and comfortable room. This Red Roof met all of them with a few that exceeded expectations. First, the king bed was comfortable and the tv was a very good quality LG with a wide selection of channels. Second, the hotel does not charge an additional fee for pets. In my opinion, an additional $30 to $50 charge for a pet isn't very friendly.

Just an ok motel. Floor needed to be swept in the room. Holes in the bedspread that were cigarette burns in a non smoking room. Towels were bare. Lots of people just hanging out in the parking lot. Takes pets for 10.00 a day. If you just need one night to sleep and go, it will serve you fine. More than one night, look elsewhere.

I really wanted to leave a good review as I read so many negative ones. I can’t in good conscience do that. We travel with our dog and stay in many pet rooms. This one was disgusting!!! The smell about knocked you over in this room. We have never had this problem before. A previous dog had chewed the remote in half. Instead of removing it, it was left in the room not working of course . Asked for a replacement remote (as I didn’t want to be charged for the damaged one) and was given one but it didn’t work either . One positive: night manager tried to fix it but couldn’t. He was new and didn’t know how. Light bulb out in ceiling light in room. Back door by the stairs was never locked and anyone could walk in. Was suppose to stay 2 days but between the safety factor with the back door and the room smell decided to check out after one night. Bathroom floor was dirty and sticky. No refund for second night but we just couldn’t stay in that room.

I am not picky. I believe I get what I pay for. Not so with the Rodeway Inn in Gadsden, AL. We had a coupon from a hotel book - $49.99 plus tax with two beds, and I saw this same hotel on my Choice Hotels app. It was only for one night, so we decided to give it a try. We should have known when we pulled into the pot-holed parking lot that it was a mistake. The guy behind the desk was very nice but didn’t give us a copy of the receipt until I asked for one in a future trip to the office. And, when I gave him my Choice Hotel member ID, he told me he would connect it so I received points. I never did. When we entered our room, my husband said it was definitely bare bones. Yeah. No coffee cups, etc., and there was left-over coffee in the machine. No towels. No pillowcases. We didn’t realize this all at once. It took three trips to the office. At this stage, the office-guy should have said, “Let me look” or “Let’s get you another room.” Nope. We should have just left. But we didn’t. We went out to dinner, then returned to find that the microwave was filthy and there were holes in the bedsheets. And the clean towels were the smallest we ever saw and had stains on some of them. We never even considered using the shower. I must say, the sheets did appear clean. The mattresses were ok. The surfaces seemed clean. The carpet seemed clean up to a couple of inches from the wall. The TV was good. When we got up the next morning and headed to the promised continental breakfast (1/2 hour after the start time) the serving room was dark, nothing was out, and no one was behind the office desk. At this stage we gave up and decided… lesson learned. We would heartily recommend avoiding this at any cost.
