WE completely stumbled onto this restaurant while walking around Fussen. Originally planning to just pop in for a pre-dinner drink, our minds were quickly changed once we saw the plates of food coming from the kitchen. We asked a lot of questions, and one of the servers/managers said, "you don't like the food, you don't pay!" Well......we stayed and ate and drank and had dessert and loved every single second! Highly recommend.

I tell you... they would have got 4 on 5.... the quality of the dinner was on 4...Unfortunately the table they gave us had got the tablecloth dirty...and it was visible...So... the waiter was great and my Wiener schnitzel was delicious and crispy...My wife enjoyed the asparagus and roast-beef.

The restaurant had a â¬25,90 buffet which was very worth it, given that a single main course was about â¬15-20 each. It included quite enough dishes (about 30) that one couldn't even take 1 helping from each.Their radler had a bit too much beer and not enough lemonade, but that's probably a personal taste.Staff service was good.

During our last say at Hopfen am See, after a nice walk around the lake we chose this restaurant for dinner, and we didn't regret! Very nice atmosphere, friendly staff, gave us good advises regarding the dishes. The menu had several excellent and non-trivial options. Also they had "American meet week", we decided to go for local cuisine and it was simply great! The only thing we missed - was the dessert of the day, it sounded promising, but after a soup and a main course we couldn't even think about eating anymore.We will definitely return there on our next visit.

Can't praise the staff or the quality of the room enough. Efficient, friendly and attentive. Room was large and had a wonderful balcony. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to others. Food was great too, and a killer selection of beers.

My family and I are vegans and spent three weeks traveling around Europe this past summer. We all agree that Olivenbauer was the best meal we had during our entire stay! We stopped in unexpectedly after touring Neuschwanstein and could not believe our luck. It is a beautiful restaurant with an extremely helpful staff. But the absolute gem was the food. We all ordered something different and we all loved our meals! I recommend Olivenbauer to anyone looking for a great dining experience!

Fussen is a very attractive town but much of the food we encountered was perfectly acceptable 'tourist bland'. Madame Pluesch was different. A beautiful cosy venue and local cuisine - my mixed sausage plate was something to remember. The charming Bulgarian waitress worked so hard. You do need to book and we had to wait for the following day to get in but worth it.

I was here with Barbara's (Astrid's) group in December 2016, and was very happy with the choice of a local restaurant. We were able to choose between fish and the duck, and the duck was absolutely wonderful. Staff were also quick, efficient, and friendly.The restaurant itself was nicely kept and quiet. There was a very large group eating buffet style in the entry area as we were leaving - not sure if that's a regular event, or if they cater to reunions, office affairs, etc.

In the poring rain, we found Michelangelo who were able to seat the 7 of us - upstairs. We liked the pizzas (I had the Michelangelo) and the spaghetti. Soft drinks (400ml) go for â¬3.90. Overall good food and friendly staff, although it was a bit warm upstairs. We were also able to pay with a card.Thank you for your visite.Arrivederci e grazie
