Decent three star hotel situated right next to Großglockner Hochalpenstraße
Reviewed By Ludo_LimbachMe and my son spent two nights in Hotel Lampenhäusl during our recent ski trip in Salzburg Land. We have been very positively surprised by this three star hotel. Hotel is situated almost in the centre of Fusch an der Glocknerstraße right next to main road (Großglockner Hochalpenstraße). We stayed in double room on 1st floor that was spacious enough, clean and convenient and the price per night was really reasonable. Perhaps the small problem was the heat during the night inside the room due to not properly working heating / cooling system and a bit hard pillow to which I am not used to. On the other hand wi-fi worked properly in entire facility (i.e. room, restaurant etc.), service was great (desk clerk, staff in the restaurant…), breakfast with substantial variety of meals was satisfactory as well and dinner from à la carte menu was good and tasty. We used the opportunity to store our ski boots in internal ski depot as well as we tried the facilities in dayroom. Unfortunately we had no chance to try sauna and relax area due to limited time.

Great place to stay
Reviewed By Annemiek KGreat hotel. We always come here with the family in winter. The team is so kind, friendly and helpfull. Great food, nice and clean rooms. The pool and spa are fantastic. Just turned back from a short stay to go to the Grossglockner and we had the same, fantastic experience as in winter.

In fully equipped private rooms and traditionally furnished public areas, such as our lounge, you can make yourself comfortable and relax after days of exciting holiday experiences. In our restaurant you can enjoy our meals, made of regional, biological ingredients such as our own agricultural products. During winter we provide a shuttle bus that takes you to the beautiful landscape of the skiing area "Zell am See/Kaprun". In the summertime you can go for a walk on a variety of hiking trails as well as climbing mountains to enjoy the sight that the holiday region of the national park "Hohe Tauern" offers you.

Reviewed By manuelamarinaWe stayed here 7 nights. It is a very nice location and hotel. The room was big with two balconies and a wonderful view. Breakfast and dinner were also provided and both of them had very tasteful food (including bio stuff like the milk from their own cows or homemade butter). The spa area is appropriate for relaxing and good looking. (The photos are accurate). There is a main building and a second one with tunnel communication. Next to them is a barn where you can see the cows, as well as the milking process. There is also a kids area with air hockey, table tennis, billiards. There are many places where you can sit and socialize or play board games. The restaurant has a bar which is open until approximately at midnight. They also have a slope for beginners in the back, which is nice and useful for those who start skiing. There is also free parking. We spend a wonderful time here at Ponyhof. I totally recommend this place.

Reviewed By stevevQ2133UGWe called the pension at approximately 8 o’clock in the evening because we wanted to visit the Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse the next day and the pension is really close to the Grossglockner. We spoke to Marlene and she was so friendly! We had a 4,5 hour drive from Egg, Austria and we would arrive at 1 am. The reception was already closed but Marlene said she would leave us a key in the lobby and the payment would be done the next morning. When we arrived we found our key and went to the room immediately. We were really tired of the late night 4,5hour drive. The bed was pretty good, and the water pressure in the shower was excellent! The next morning Marlene and Hermann welcomed us and we got good breakfast. We also got a free pass to the Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse during our stay at the pension. Thanks for all the effort and the trust and maybe we’ll see eachother again in the future! Greetings from Steve Verweij and Deborah.

Reviewed By hans_lehRoom is tidy, matress a bit tired and saggy, no soap on the washstand. Sunday morning the hot water did not work, breakfast room was locked until 8. I wanted to organise a surprise at breakfast for my son' - whose birthday it was - and went into the kitchen to organise it in secret. Without listening to me at all, the staff gruffly ordered me out of the kitchen (twice) and insisted on only talking to me in the restaurant - where my son was sitting. That rude demeanour completely ruined my surprise and put a damper on my son's birthday. All in all: I won't ever book there again. Piti: the barman was nice, witty and good company...

The very best place to stay
Reviewed By Louisa137We have stayed at the Dorfplatz three times in the last two years and I can't recommend it enough. The rooms are lovely, spotlessly clean and Alexandra is a fabulous host. Nothing is too much trouble and breakfast is lovely. The Lampenhausel across the road is perfect for dinner. A short drive into Zell Am See for skiing. Wouldn't stay anywhere else!

Reviewed By F7931JKandreashSehr gute Lage direkt an der Glocknerstrasse,ruhig vor allem Abends und Nachts,weil die Glocknerstrasse nur bis 20,00 Uhr geöffnet ist. Sehr nette Bedienung der Inhaberin,Gutes Zimmer mit Balkon und Blick auf die Berge. Gute Parkmöglichkeiten direkt am Haus. Man ist mit dem Auto schnell am Zeller See,in Salzburg,Bad Gastein,am Großglockner Hotel nebenan gute preiswerte Küche.
