Thundi guest house is a brand new low budget guest house located in the beautiful island of Fulidhoo, 57 km from capital Male City. Thundi offers uninterrupted views of the breath taking scenery of the white sandy beaches and crystal clear lagoons of the pure Maldivian islands.

Reviewed By ChuckOfAllTradesMy wife and I stayed at Thundi as part of a dive package with the excellent Fulidhoo Dive. It was a wonderful stay. The location is excellent, the price is competitive, the food is OUTSTANDING (which is made even better by their generous portion sizes). The beach - while not as clean or inviting as the main Fulidhoo one, is lovely enough to just gaze at while sitting and reading on one of the many lounge chairs they have. The rooms are cleaned daily, and the premises is very quiet and inviting. For cat lovers, there are several cats running all around the place (one of the more, er, "memorable" parts of my trip was us trying to extricate a hook that a poor kitten had got itself inveigled in). They range from the aloof to the super friendly who will demand rubs! Shifaz, who runs the place does a great job. He was super helpful even before we took off from Mumbai, sharing lots of info via Whatsapp, organizing trips and giving tips. Lastly - did I mention the food? Doesn't matter, I'll say it again. It was excellent. From Maldivian breakfasts to spicy Indian cuisine to an insanely good sashimi platter, Chef Mohit and his kitchen team whip up one heck of a meal. If you're staying here, you should definitely do the half-board at least. Between stunning dives and those meals, our week in Fulidhoo was a memorable one. Thank you, everyone at Thundi (including the cats!).

Will 100% recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting Fulidhoo, Maldives. Faisal, Shinan and Sarey were wonderful hosts ? The hotel also organises the best of excursions.

Das Hotel ist direkt am Touristenbeach gelegen, ist sauber, modern eingerichtet, das Essen ist der HAMMER, das Personal unglaublich lieb und hilfsbereit! Wir hatten eine perfekte Zeit auf Fulidhoo und werden definitiv wiederkommen und wieder bei TheMureed buchen! Wir haben tolle Ausflüge über das Hotel gebucht. Der 3 Point Schorchelausflug war unglaublich! Wir sind mit Ammenhaien und Schildkröten geschnorchelt und waren am Nemopoint, wo wir einen unfassbar schönen Korallengarten mit einer wahnsinnigen Fischvielfalt gesehen haben! Außerdem haben wir einen Ausflug zum Schiffswrack gemacht, wo wir schnorcheln konnten. Danach sind wir zu Thinadoo gefahren und hatten dort Lunch. Danach haben wir die Sandbank besucht und dort den Sonnenuntergang genossen. Unbeschreiblich schön. Für beide Ausflüge haben wir pP ca 140 Dollar bezahlt. Unser 4 jähriger Sohn war kostenlos dabei. Während wir schnorcheln waren haben sich die zwei Männer, die den Ausflug mit uns gemacht haben liebevoll um ihn gekümmert und ihn in einem Rettungsring und einer Rettungsweste mit ins Wasser genommen! Der Service ist 1a gewesen und wir haben uns gefühlt wie bei unserer eigenen Familie. Das Zimmer kann auf Wunsch jeden Tag gereinigt werden, wir haben es aber nur ein Mal in Anspruch genommen. Das Zimmer ist groß und wir haben über einen Balkon zum Garten verfügt. Wunder- wunderschön! Die Klimaanlange funktionierte einwandfrei und das WLAN auf dem Zimmer auch. Fulidhoo ist die schönste Insel die wir je gesehen haben! Es lohnt sich definitiv diese zu besuchen! TheMureed würden wir jederzeit wieder buchen! Sie lieben Kinder und freuen sich jedes Mal, wenn sie unseren Kleinen gesehen haben. Für ihn wurden sogar abends extra Pommes gemacht oder Nudeln, weil er das Essen nicht essen wollte. Obwohl es einfach unfassbar lecker war! Es gab zum Frühstück immer die Auswahl zwischen 2 süßen Leckereien: entweder Pancakes, Waffeln oder Crêpes. Toast stand jedes mal zur Verfügung. Marmelade, Butter und Nutella gab es auch immer. Es stand zu Jeder Mahlzeit Wasser, Saft und Kaffee zur Verfügung. Mittagessen bestand aus einem Reis-, oder Nudelgericht, Gemüse und einer Fleisch-, oder Fischbeilage. Als Nachspeise gab es Obst. Abends bekam man eine Suppe zur Vorspeise, wieder ein Reis-, oder Nudelgericht, Gemüse und eine Fleisch-, oder Fischbeilage. Als Nachspeise gab es Eis oder Früchte. Das Essen war wie gesagt der Hammer und immer frisch. Mein Mann war auch auf einem Angelausflug und sein Fisch wurde dann am nächsten Tag frisch zubereitet. Alles dort ist selbst gefangen worden und super frisch zubereitet. Wir konnten die Insel wirklich nur unter Tränen verlassen und wünschen uns wieder dorthin zurück.. das Personal hat unserem Sohn sogar aus Palmblättern schöne Figuren gebastelt. Alles in allem ist jedes Detail mit Liebe gestaltet! Unsere Transfers zum Hotel und wieder zum Flughafen wurden auch vom Hotel organisiert und es lief alles einwandfrei. Uns wurden auch die Koffer mit einem elektrisch angetriebenem Kofferwagen zum Hotel und bei Abreise zum Boot gebracht. Der Service ist wirklich unschlagbar! Am Strand kann man Stachelrochen und Ammenhaie sehen und beobachten. Die Stachelrochen haben wir sogar gefüttert. Dafür haben wir uns beim Hotel nach dem Abendessen etwas Fisch geben lassen! Tolles Erlebnis, das mich der Insel und den Tieren noch näher hat kommen lassen. Die Kommunikation vor der Anreise war super! Alle Absprachen wurden eingehalten und alle Nachrichten innerhalb kürzester Zeit beantwortet. Das Hotel stellt am Touristenbeach kostenfreie Liegen zur Verfügung. Kostenfreie Beachtowels kann man sich jeden Tag neu beim Hotel holen :( Es hat nichts mit TheMureed zu tun, aber wir sind mit 100 Mückenstichen übersäht gewesen. Das Hotel stellt aber immer auch Mückenspray kostenfrei zur Verfügung - hilft aber nur bedingt. Leider wurde coronabedingt zeitweise kein Müll der Insel von Schiffen abgeholt, weshalb es eine Mülldeponie gibt, die sich fast direkt am Touristenbeach befindet. Es wurde regelmäßig Müll verbrannt, weshalb es zu einem unangenehmen Smog am Strand kam, der fürchterlich gestunken hat. Am Strand wurde gerade ein Tsunamischutz errichtet und es gab daher etwas Baulärm...

Reviewed By Soloista-SoulEasy , simple, close to lagoon and bikini beach. The place has only 3 rooms, so its indeed very peaceful. Love the fact that its right in front of the lagoon…where you can look for black tip reef sharks or just jump in for snorkelling. I found lobster, octopus, sharks, Morley eel, and of cause many reef fishes. Bikini beach is 3min walking distance. Room is simple, have enough space. Moosa (the owner) is super helpful, he would help to organize an excursion using his own boat. I did 2 snorkelling trip, both are really nice except for the strong current !

Clean rooom, beautiful cotton towels for beach, abundance of water and the best bart - the best COOK from Sri Lanka who cooked for us. We ate amazing, tasteful fishes for the best price, like 30$ for three persons, huge fresh fish with all salad and rice, pastas,fruit... I mean it is 3 person, amazing! Beach is clean, water is maldivian crystal clear, salty, white sand... Same like in expensive resorts, but for affordable price! These guys here are locals and they can arrange to you everything to experience real Maldives, they know how to make you safe on daily excursions, cause I was a little bit afraid of swimming with sharks ?, they had so much patience that in the and I was swimming like I am swimming with sharks every day. Than I have to say the owner is the best, professional like European style. Near the room we have ocean, we drunk coffee and listened to the ocean! Wow, amazing! We slept well, there is no noise. In my opinion, I was scared that I couldn't afford Maldives, but NOW, I just think how to come back to La Perla Guest House Fulidhoo! ❤️ And I will take more people with me, for sure! ?

Fantastic staff and amazing food

The staff truly goes out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible and every dish the cook makes is delicious (definitely try the pizza's he makes!). The host was not on the island when I was there, but she kept in contact with me through Whatsapp the whole time and helped me out with everything. From tours to questions. Thanks for having me, it really was amazing to stay here!!

Reviewed By Naai IThe guest house is located near the beach so there is a beautiful beach view. Hammocks and sunbeds are placed in front of the guest house and chilly breezes from the ocean is very relaxing. Rooms are comfy and spacious.

To my surprise it turned out to be the best holiday experience . Mohammed and his brothers took care of me like a family and made my stay so very comfortable . There’s a beach just ten steps away , you can sit there for hours and pass your days . Fulidhoo is a divers paradise so you will have sharks and stingrays all around the island . The food is a plus ..I tried almost everything on their menu .. it’s lip smacking ! I’m going to miss this place ?
