All over Japan there are restaurants like Nanaya, often franchised, all with their particular style and offering set menu food (6-900yen), usually with a salad buffet (600 yen) and drink bar (200 yen).Nanaya is a cut above many of the others. It has large windows and a bright, simple timber interior and offered a good range of meat and fish mains. The salad buffet was outstanding offering vegetarians a good range of salads, soup and tofu. Deserts are also included in the salad bar.The drink bar had soft drinks on tap, jugs of various fruit and veggie juices, coffee machine and a range of teas, leaves in jars, with little glass tea pots with built in strainers.For 3 of us to leave totally full, 2 omnivores and a vegetarian, the price was 3000yen (less that $30US).All the food
