I am an American living in Japan and was surprised to find this quality of Italian restaurant here. We celebrated our anniversary here and were very pleased with the service, food presentation and wine selection. We both had pasta dishes that were made with fresh ingredients. The staff surprised us with a dessert plate, which was delicious. We will come back and try more of this excellent food!

Lauren & Leaf is on the south side of the "Pivot" dining and shopping area built under the shinkansen (bullet train) tracks on the west side of Fukushima Station. Thus, it is convenient. I've been to Lauren & Leaf several times over the last ~8 years, always for group events, ranging from a dozen to around a hundred people. Typical cost per head is ¥4,000 to ¥6,000, which generally includes unlimited access to a limited selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. In that price range, Fukushima is full of many other places with better quality and/or more generous servings. But Lauren & Leaf has the advantage of being at Fukushima Station, a good starting point for a train, bus, or taxi ride home after an evening of eating and drinking.
