Guesthouse OBAMA21:00 has 4 rooms. Japanese-style private room for up to 3 people and a mix dormitory for 6 people, female private room for up to 5 people, female dormitory for 4 people. It is a 9-minute walk from Obama Station and a 2-minute walk to the beach. A 60-year-old Japanese-style old house has been renovated and converted into a guest house. You can use cooking utensils and seasonings freely in the shared kitchen. There are 2 shower rooms. From 9:00 pm, we are offering Sake from Obama and Fukui.

Reviewed By phlerMy friend and I had the BEST time at the guesthouse! The place is beautiful, a traditional Japanese house repurposed into a very fashionable guesthouse. But more importantly, the people we met there were absolutely wonderful. The friendly woman who welcomed us (Ms. A) spoke perfect English and we had so much fun talking to her as she kindly introduced the guesthouse and all the fun things to do around here. Then, later at night, the owner, who also happens to speak perfect English(!), offered us some local Japanese 'sake' rice wine and even 'umeshu' plum wine while we all chatted and got to know each other. I always thought it was difficult meeting and making friends with local people while traveling but here, we could experience AUTHENTIC Japan!!! It also helps that the whole thing is soooo reasonably-priced The area really is among Japan's best-kept secrets! There is so much to do around the guesthouse. We could walk to the beach, ride on a cruise ship at the fisherman's warf, eat delicious Japanese food, make our own Wakasa lacquer chopsticks at the food museum and so much more... We highly recommend the guesthouse to anyone visiting Japan! It's worth the travel to Obama City and the wider prefecture of Fukui!

There are only dormitory. (japanese tatami room or 2bunk bed) kitchen, restroom,bathroom is shared.

Reviewed By 7book駅近なので当初は電車で行く予定だったけど、無料駐車場があったので車で行けたのが、良かった。 ゲストハウスが無い地域だったので、これからは便利になりそう。 きれいな宿で雰囲気も良く、リラックスできました。

Let's stay Japanese traditional house in Ono, Fukui. This old house was built about 60 years ago, and repaired it as cafe & guest house. You can feel natural wind and slowly time and Japanese life style. There is Echizen Ono castle known as "The castle on the cloud" in Japan near here, and walking around historical old town. Please spend the time as Japanese people. We have several activities, Zazen, Kayak, Astronomical observation and etc.

古民家で静かに過ごせる
Reviewed By shihoTokyo越前海岸を見下ろす山の中腹にある古民家を改装した宿泊施設で、基本的に、一日一組の受け入れで、周りの古民家にも人が住んでおらず、とても静かに過ごせます。ロンドンと日本各地にある「いただき膳」の系列で、食事はVegan（完全菜食）です。朝食付きですが、夕食は事前予約で対応してくれます。私達は夕食もお願いしましたが、自分達で管理する自然農の畑からや地元のお野菜を使ったおしいしい食事に満足です。菜食で古民家体験、静かに過ごしたい人などにはおすすめです。
