Ive always had a fondness for the food in China but this restaurant brought it up a notch higher. You chose the food first at some sort of a market outside and they cook it based on your choices. Its all beautifully done. Service was fast even though they must have 50 rooms to serve. The taste and quality of the food was amazing!

Dating back to the Qing Dynasty, seven-star fish ball is a ball with fish stuffing. It is so named because the balls look like stars floating in water after it is cooked. Evenly mix minced eel, shark or freshwater fish meat with starches as the wrapper. Use pork or shrimp as the stuffing. The cooked fish ball has an even skin, looks pure white and tastes crispy and delicious and the soup is not oily at all. You can eat it at any small roadside restaurant in Fuzhou.

Five star rating, but hardy any English is spoken here, bar services are severely restricted and the one bar in the hotel closes at 10pm. In the rooms an Australian wine bar is advertised, but this does not exist and wine is nil availed by the bottle at exorbitant prices. The mini bar in the room also stocks ver little. The restaurant is very average and in the mornings it really is difficult to find a tablet since the dining room size very much does not match the size of the hotel. Rooms at ver large and comfortable though and there are some nice bar/pub/cafe establishments not too far from the hotel. But, definitely not five star. Tried to order room service, but language made this impossible.
