Overall, it was great dinner. Service was probably the best part of the night, because they were very helpful with meal allergic adaptation. They were very kind as well.
Meals were tasteful. I highly recommend a coffee dessert.
It was a busy and crowded place so better make a reservation.

A lovely place on the town square. Good basic food but a bit smokey. Try the garlic soup and the local beer.

Got a recommendation from a friend while looking for a good restaurant close to Nove Mesto pod Smrkem. Called in advance and was told to come despite the restaurant appeared to be full at that moment. Arrived in 1 hr and had 6 seats table already reserved for us.
Chose beef soup with a liver dumpling and an oyster blade steak and was extremely satisfied. So were my friends. Went there once again the next day for a quick afternoon dessert, chose a panacotta with a mango sorbet and even this was a great choice.
The service (Mrs. Veronika) was great, too.
Did not test whether English is spoken, though.
Anyway, strongly recommend.

V tomto kraji je krásně, ale chudo a gastronomie tomu odpovídá. Tato hospoda se však vymyká a dá se zde dobře napít i najíst.

Four people, four different dishes, everything was delicious. Our waitress was very friendly and service was very fast. The menu is available in English and staff also speak English. We loved it.

I am an American who stopped in Bogatynia to visit a friend while on vacation in Poland. It was my first time in Poland, so I wasn't sure what to expect. The restaraunt exceeded all expectations. Very good beer selection on tap, the food was excellent, and the atmosphere was very enjoyable. The owner was very welcoming and even spoke English with me since I struggled with Polish. I enjoyed it so much that i went both days that I was in Bogatynia.
The first day, I ate traditional Polish food upon recommendation. I would suggest asking for a recommendation if you are not familiar with the more traditional Polish dishes and want to try out Polish cuisine. The staff was happy to offer up suggestions. They also had a hamburger on the menu, which I of course had to try. It was every bit as good as the best American burger-restaraunts. A pleasent surprise in the middle of Europe!
I would definitely suggest dining here if you find yourself anywhere near the Bogatynia area.

The restaurant “Obrí sud” (transl. Giant barrel) on a hill above the spa town of Libverda. It is exactly what its name suggests a large wooden barrel-shaped building with a large dance hall and restaurant inside. Quite interesting. There is a small “zoo” (aviary in fact) garden next to the restaurant with splendid views of the Mountains. The restaurant serves typical Czech dishes at reasonable prices. However, the service was somewhat slow when we visited as there was only one waitress and the place was quite busy. Food was good when it arrived.

Family restaurant in the spirit of the 17th century with honest Czech cuisine and pleasant environment. The restaurant is located in the center of Frydlant in a historic building with its own enclosed courtyard. Great place for weddings, celebrations or meetings.

Comfortable place, medieval-like atmosphere. Even when the restaurant was full the service was always very good, attentive. The meals are usually good, althouh daily offer varies in quality. During the summer there's lovely garden.Lenina, thank you so much for your review ? Have a great day ?

Delicious meals, homemade cakes, great coffee & Moravian wines. Beer from local brewery. We've been there plenty times for various occasions and we've always been well fed and treated. They also organise Concerts & festivals. Lovely spot.
