We stop here several times a month for ice cream always excellent and BIG Portions! Always Several different flavors to pick from. We Dont eat here often but, when we do, we have no complaints. They have daily specials that always seem very reasonable.

Stopped in for a light dinner at the recommendation of a business associate who lives nearby.
Very basic menu, but they serve beer, so that's good.
Ordered dark meat broasted chicken. Meal was very inexpensive and I have to give a big thumbs up for making something simple excellent! The chicken was cooked perfectly. Great taste. Cole slaw (another basic) was excellent. Service was excellent. No complaints.
If you are some posh, hoity-toity, bistro seeking, "gourmet" searching geek, go elsewhere as nothing will suffice your snobbish yap, but The Porch was everything a small, locally owned restaurant should be.
Enjoy!

The Bridge Bar & Restaurant is a casual bar and restaurant located on the famous Wolf River in downtown Fremont. Open all year round we can be accessed by road, water, or by snowmobile. In the summer we feature a spacious deck overlooking the river and have live music on a weekly basis. In the winter we run many specials and have a multitude of HD TV's for all sporting events. Our menu includes an array of USDA Choice burgers, homemade pizzas, numerous appetizers, and fresh fish. Come check out our Wednesday grilled steak and fish night, buck night on Thursdays, Friday fish fry, and our outdoor grill specials on Saturdays and Sundays.
My friend and I arrived around 11:30 on a Saturday. I tried a Bloody Mary to start which is their own recipe. Truly, not a fan. It was much too salty for my liking. My friends first beer was empty and finally had to walk over to ask the server for another beer - she was on her phone and visiting with a couple of guys at the end of the bar. After that all was great! It got much busier and the bartenders were on their game and very attentive! I had chicken strips for lunch which was very good. Absolutely wonderful deck right on the river! Can't beat the location!

The Radtke's do a nice job providing an open atmosphere with good food and friendly service. Lots of Packer pictures as you would expect in Wisconsin. Good bar food and good beer selection. Mill pond is weedy at times but they are on the water. Outdoor seating available. Worth a stop if you are in the area!

The new owners Dan, Donni, and Danyelle have transformed this place.
Great pizza, burgers, soups and breakfast (Saturday and Sunday).
The fish fry on Fridays is great also and I'm real fussy about my fish.
The atmosphere is fun now. Really nice people have totally made this place a great destination.
At times the weekend crowd can be real noisy

We are a 50-60's Diner. We serve Breakfast all day.
We stopped before and the food wasn't anything to write home about. When we stopped again it was much better. Juicy hamburgers made just right. When the waitress stopped by it was only to give us the bill. We had to ask for ice cream.

We go to Goode's for their fish fries on Friday nights and sometimes on Saturdays when we don't feel like cooking. We have always been treated really good. Their Scallops are to die for! They are deep fried golden brown and so yummy!

A pleasant country place for a good meal. The owners survived a catastrophic fire and rebuild and have developed a bright new bar and homey dining room. Lots of windows overlook tons of birdfeeders and the swampy Rat River for views of occasional wildlife. The servers are mostly local teens who greet you with a smile and occasional joke and get to know the regulars pretty quickly. There is a selection of Wisconsin fish fry, seafood combinations, baked chicken on Sundays, steaks and a few quirky stirfry dishes along with some sandwiches on the menu. We eat in about half the time, carry out to eat fish fry at home on Fridays the other half. They have a well stocked salad bar and 2 daily soup selections along with a tray of dessert bars included with most meals.

Have been here a few times now, great atmosphere right on the river. They usually run down to the docks to help you dock. Food is great. Only issue is the service, at times you can wait very long to get a server to come to your table.

New owners at historic Gill’s Landing on the Wolf River make the grade! Their Friday fish fry is absolutely delicious. If you like your food prepared homemade from soup to coleslaw & potato salad, not to mention lightly battered fish, you won’t be disappointed.
