If you're looking for great family run Americana Diner food joint, your search has ended. This is a long standing traditional stop for all Fremont locals! The food and service is epic! Always a line to get, but well worth the wait. Family friendly place you'll love it.

Just stopped for a late lunch with my son while out shopping. We wanted a relaxing meal and I wanted something healthy and he wanted plenty of food, but some type of fish or seafood. This is place met our requirements perfectly. And the bread was a bonus.....if maybe not so good for the waistline!
Our food was delicious. I had salmon and soup. He had soup, salad, and a plate of multiple types of seafood and rice. The service was a bit slow considering they were pretty empty, but our service and the server were great. I'm sure we will return again.

We dined at Massimo's for a superb Christmas holiday meal. We loved our dinner and service was superb too. The place was nicely decorated for Christmas.
We enjoyed cocktails and wine. They have good complementary bread.
For dinner, my husband started with flavorful clam chowder. He had salmon for dinner. Superb.
I had their wonderful Petrale sole.
For dessert we shared their dessert for the day - key lime pie. Its one of the best we've had.

Thin crust one size pizza for one flat price with as many toppings.
Shockingly filthy. I drive out of my way to come to this restaurant. I've been here many times, but today I was absolutely shocked. The place was complete chaos. Employees were playing behind the counter, the floor was covered in Pizza debris, and the preparation area was filthy. I watched one of the employees drop a pizza upside down behind the counter. Instead of cleaning it up they left it there for everyone to step in. It was well within view of the customers. I have pictures of the employees standing around behind the counter sending text messages when they could have been cleaning up the mess. The bathroom was equally as filthy. The store was not busy, no line, no one waiting. If this is the new management practice here this Blaze Pizza will not last much longer. I left a voicemail message at the corporate office We'll see. Check out the collection of pictures.

Family owned and operated. Staff has been there for a long time along with their loyal customers. The menu is French and continental. Great soups...! So, you may find your typical French dishes along with delicious sauces for meat and lobster. Reasonable prices compare to San Francisco. Great wine selection! The lunch menu is similar to the dinner menu. They have a banquet room as well.

I ordered a Large pizza with Chicken, Mushroom, Green Peppers, Black Olives, and Pepperoni. The crust was perfectly baked and the dough was fresh and handmade. All the ingredients were really high quality. You'll know it when you don't get a nasty heartburn, which I am so grateful that their toppings are top quality.
The atmosphere is unique and had its own old-school charm. I would highly recommend you to give them a try. You will not regret it. This was my first time there and I am 100% going to go back to this pizzeria again.

It wasa birthday celebration for my son, we decided to meet in the middle and ended up almost 90 miles in either direction for the birthday meal. Unfortunately the first impression was really bad. The restroom was filthy, I alerted the front desk who, immediately got onto it, but I found them rather cold and disinterested in us. They did not welcome us, they did not ask if we needed anything, they merely chatted and dealt with phone calls. We had to sit and wait for 15 minutes, before my son arrived and were shown to our table. We were given the choice of a booth or table and chairs, we chose the booth. There were booths that were clean and ready for patrons, however, not ours, it had crumbs, which the hostess, brushed of with her hands. Once we were seated, the menu I was given was sticky, my husbands knife handle was loose, when we got our cutlery. Had we been somewhere local, at this point or likely before we would have left. Im glad we didn't, it was like a switch was flipped, our experience from there was brilliant. The staff including the manager was attentive ( I had not vocalised my feelings as I did not want to spoil my sons birthday treat}, Everyone raved about their chosen meal and the butter birthday cake and ice cream was to die for. In fact I have to tell you my husband manged 2 appetisers a 21ounce steak and the baked potatoe he enjoyed the food so much, usually he will have 1 appetiser and take the potatoe home. I have now alerted the restaurant about what was bad about the experience, so that they can address the issues, as it would be a shame for future visitors to get a bad first impression and miss out on such an enjoyable experience.

Fremont is home to a large Afghan population and this restaurant is one of the benefits. They have all the usual Afghan fare and seem to be expanding their menu to include some items not typically found elsewhere. Food is excellent and the flavors are intense without being spicy-hot. The kebabs, beef and lamb, are nice and tender. The sides are a little limited, but are excellent. The restaurant is not huge, we tend to come a little earlier to avoid the crowd which can line up out the door. There is a parking lot on the side, otherwise parking can be a bit crowed. Warning!: it's very easy to fill up on the bread, it's so good, but save room for dessert.

Sala Thai was a reliable tasty restaurant choice in Fremont, but sadly since their move into a much bigger location the quality of both the food and the service has really gone downhill. Where it was once a four it is now a two.
Where the meals used to be created individually, now it seems they put your protein choice down and ladle on a sauce. The chicken was rubber, the tofu desiccated and tough. We will NOT be back.

Loved this place. Started out with a crab crunchy salad. Then Gyoza the 2 specialty rolls, The OMG roll. Name stands for itself. Langoustines, crab avocado and more. Spectacular. The a Warriors roll in deference to the NBA champs. Also delicious. Some Beer and My friend got the seafood udon noodle soup which was also great. No complaints will be back next time I come into town.
