Beautiful, restful stay
Reviewed By 136shivanimI had an amazing stay at the lodge. The staff are incredible, helpful and friendly. I stayed in the honeymoon suite which is spacious and extremely comfortable. Add extra travel to navigate the potholes around the Marquard and Clocolan. Best to drive during the day so that you can spot the potholes and avoid them.

Reviewed By whschuttehmThe room was clean and enough warm blankets. Unfortunately there are no bedside lights which made it impossible to read or navigate if one gets up at night. Something should be done to keep the bathroom ceiling free from turning black from the steam. A extractor fan will work.

Located in a quiet setting amongst the trees of Reinheim Caravan Park, the 6 chalets situated along the river’s edge offer you with a nature hideaway, 20 km from Bloemfontein. All units are fully self-catering, equipped with a kitchenette, DSTV, bathroom with shower and an outdoor patio with a braai area. The units are decorated in earthy tones and simplistic, shabby chic styles.
Really Nice Stayover Option
Reviewed By Adrian AWe were on our way back from Swakopmund and Reinheim was our stop point for NewYear Eve and day on our way home. The dirt road was a challenge for our campervan but as the previous reviewer says I am sure Frikkie will sort it out shortly once the rain stops. Overall though, the resort is very well maintained, luscious, freshly mowed green grass and a pool right next to the Renoster (means Rhino) river. Lovely spacious accommodation, awesome airconditioning and ceiling fans, and a big braai facility on the patio too. All I would recommend to Frikkie is to devise a way for guests to be able to put some sort of light cover over the patio "stick" roof to afford a higher degree of protection from the summer sun if its needed. We had a great time and will definitely stay again if the opportunity arises.

Reviewed By heilletjedWe went to Little Rock Resort for a nice ending of our vacation. We drove on a terrible road on the way there, full of potholes. Very tired and exhausted we got to the resort. The children wanted to swim and enjoy the last 2 days of their holiday. Sadly when we arrived there, the swimming pool was green. It is supposed to be a resort? When we wanted to enter our chalet, the first spider was lying at the front door. The bathroom had two big spiders and my daughter first needed her dad's assistance before she could use the bathroom. There were spiderwebs in the chalet as well as other spiders. In the living room, the dust was lying thick on the table, the carpet had dirt on it, as well as pieces of broken sweets. There were leaves and dust on the main bedroom's bed. The children's bedrooms were dark, shady and had old linen. My thoughts were, how many spiders and other things will walk over my children while they are sleeping. Therefore it was not possible for us to stay at such a filthy place. We were at little Rock for about 10-15 minutes, then we handed the key in and left. We got a note from booking.com that we didn't pitch! It was a first for us. What we saw on the photo's was not what we got. We wish it was different. One positive thing is, that they paid one nights fee back to us. We lost only one nights fee, because of the dirty place.
