I met some of my very favorite long time friends here to enjoy a respite from the madness of the holidays. We were seated immediately upon entering because we had a reservation and were promptly given an extensive menu of every type of tea imaginable. Each lady had their own individual pot of tea, which we drank out of very charming China tea cups. As the time got closer to the lunch hour the room began to fill up and it became just the slightest bit noisy, but that will happen at any restaurant.
When the food arrived it was everything we hoped it would be, delicious, artfully arranged, and plentiful (We even ended up bringing extras home.)
The service was exemplary without being intrusive, and we felt that we could linger all day if we wanted to. Two of our ladies even enjoyed a second pot of tea; we were really able to relax and sit still for awhile and a no time felt rushed.
At the end of our visit our table was visited by the herald owner, Mrs. Henry, who stopped by to make sure our lunch was completely satisfactory. It was, very much so!

Lucky Corner looks like a hole in the wall but but inside they are dishing up some of the very best Vietnamese fare in the entire area. Yesterday I had their Duck in Red Curry Coconut and my hubby had their Pepper Shrimp and Scallops. We both agreed those two dishes were worthy of a special trip. We were driving through the area and stopped in for lunch, thank you TA. The restaurant was packed and we had a very short wait. By the time we finished looking at the menu and making our selections our table was ready and we ordered straight away. Service was friendly and helpful. We will definitely return. Highly, highly recommended.

I hate to admit it but I am a BBQ snob. But this place really knows what it is doing! The sandwiches are enormous and delicious. The cole slaw freshly made. Wash it down with Blue Moon and you will have had a satisfying lunch. Highly recommend.

"Manalu and our dream come true". As a little kid, my dream was to become a chef and open an authentic italian restaurant here in the USA. I spent so many years working hard and hoping that one day my dream will become true. Throughout the years my wife and my daughter have been my biggest support, in fact Manalu was created to combine all three of our names: MA for Marco, NA for Naomi and LU for Lucia. Our goal is to bring a taste of Italy and a touch of Naples in the town, by serving authentic italian food and the original Pizza Napoletana cooked in our brick oven. The traditional italian cooking in a true and warm family atmosphere.
OK I’ll confess I’m Italian. I love eating Italian food but don’t always love eating it outside of my family home. This warm and welcoming restaurant has outstanding staff, that are courteous, gracious, and just looking to give you the best service. The menu selection has something for everyone. The portions are just right and every serving from the wine pour, house salad and rigatoni suggested by our waiter, was excellent. My rigatoni, the pasta itself, was cooked to perfection, not too hard not to soft. The sauce which included meat and sausage was a perfect blend. Many times you go to an Italian restaurant and be overwhelmed by the amount of cheese and meat in your rigatoni dishes you won’t find that here. In fact I felt the food rivaled my own grandmother’s cooking. I was involved in a very intimate business conversation with my dinner guest. The waiter sensed it gave us our space, and time to complete what we were talking about. Outstanding can’t wait to come back.My only criticism would be that it’s a very loud, but that just means everyone’s having a great time enjoying the food and conversation.

Been here for business dinners numerous times over the past decade, and most recently last month (February 2018). Fine dining, superb service, attention to detail, outstanding food. A little pricy. A good place to celebrate anniversaries, special occasions, etc.

This is a wonderful Italian restaurant. Mr. Cruz and his staff do a splendid job with food and service. I highly recommend it.
Il Porto in downtown Frederick is a restaurant that works hard at making every guest feel like family. You are warmly welcomed, the owner works the floor making contact with every diner and assuring you have a great dining experience. My wife and I unexpectedly had an free mid-week night and visited Ip Porto. My wife enjoyed a wonderful glass of Montepulciano D'Abru to start the night and the bread with oil and mozzarella was delicious. A shared appetizer of cream of crab soup was followed by a small fontina pizza and crab stuffed flounder with a side of pasta & marinara. The portions were more than adequate which left no room for dessert. We have eaten at Il Porto a number of times and will return again,

We got in late and this restaurant sounded just right for our travel-weary selves. At 8 pm, the restaurant was absolutely empty--even with live music, which should have been a warning to us.
The waitress kept trying to sell us on the high-end dishes, and we got a couple of little plates as well as a main. Prices were very high for the amount (yes, I know tapas are little bites, but these were tiny). Flavorless dolmas--with no sauce, nearly raw lamb chops. At least the hummus bowl had some substance so we didn't starve.

The Wine Kitchen on the Creek is a modern, seasonal style chophouse that features local, high quality cuts of meat and a farm fresh menu that includes many seafood and vegetarian options along with a dynamic wine and spirits list.
Wife & I had dinner here a short while ago. Enjoyable. Great service courtesy of Angela. Food was quite good, but overall a very pricey evening, especially for restaurant week.
We started with drinks, the pricing for which we misunderstood. Cocktail special was a good one and reasonably priced at $11 ea. Martini was $13 ea, was quite high given size, and even more so when we thought it was $9 ea. So we move on.
Restaurant week menu offered a nice selection, albeit too many 'supplements'. However, no bread or other opening food or intermezzos.
Service was quite good and proficient. Noise level increased substantially as evening progressed (which we had been forewarned about). Not sure the experience is worth almost $200 for 2. We did enjoy ourselves, but shall see if we will return.
Thank you for a pleasant evening.

We tried this restaurant during an impromptu visit to Frederick. The red and white sangrias were good and very reasonably priced. I had the picadillo with potatoes and olives and congri, and thought it was well-prepared and well-seasoned. My wife ordered a dinner special, camarones con crema, which came with tostones, and liked the dish very much.
Our server was friendly, prompt with service, and more attentive than most restaurant servers. When my wife’s napkin fell to the floor, she barely had enough time to pick it up before our server arrived with a fresh napkin. Sabor de Cuba would be well worth a return visit.

Stopped here on the recommendation of s friend. Good menu, with vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian and meat options. Fresh food well prepared. I had the gazpacho, veggie melt, peanut butter chocolate square and prosecco-$28 with tax, so not bad. Gazpacho especially delicious. In historic downtown Frederick, but parking garage nearby
