We were taken back in time with the atmosphere, made us all think of wonderful memories past. The food was fabulous, Service was great, everyone was friendly from the moment you walked in. All the food was fresh and appeared home made! Our group sampled the crab augratin,, shrimp poorboy, grilled chicken sandwich, and grilled shrimp salad. Everyone was totally satisfied.

They deliver to the Best Western guests. The food is good. They have daily specials. I had the fried chicken strips with red beans and rice, corn, garlic toast and cole slaw. There were 6 chicken strips on the plate. It was way too much food for me. It would easily have fed two. After I called the order in, she said they would deliver in about 15-20 minutes. He was there with my food in 5 minutes. That evening, my husband and I ate dinner there. He had fried crawfish and crawfish etouffee, I had shrimp salad with remoulade dressing. Both of us had iced tea, and no dessert. Our meals were filling and delicious. The veggies in my salad were fresh and crisp. Tomatoes were tasty. The remoulade dressing was pretty good, but I've had better. Service was quick, but we had to ask for iced tea refills. And I guess there was a shortage of hot rolls, we were only given one, lol. The prices were fair, and worth it, and the dining room was pretty clean. Would we eat there again? Yes, we will. Would I suggest this restaurant to friends or relatives? Yes. Do I feel we got our money's worth? Yes. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because its a little run down.

We eat alot of take out and its difficult usually to please everyone at the same place. We all love Landrys hot tamales in Franklin, Not only are the tamales always fresh and delicious but so is everything else we have ever eaten from there. I highly recommend this place.

The service is generally extremely slow. The food is somewhat mediocore and very high in fat. Lots of fried items if this is what you want.Hi, Cajuncouple50. These are not the kind of reviews we like to read. We would like to opportunity to discuss your experience in Café Delphine. Please contact us at [email protected] with more details. Thank you.

Not sure when this opened in the Cypress Bayou Casino...however, it is on point with the other locations in Lafayette and Baton Rouge. The service here was outstanding and as it is at other locations...the sushi was fresh and delicious. They have a great wine selection also. While at the casino take the time to have dinner here...you will throughly enjoy it.

This is a relatively new place, open about 9 months now. There are few places open on Sunday evenings in the Franklin/Baldwin area. Los Mayas is open Sundays, which is a real treat. We come to Baldwin frequently to volunteer at UMCOR, so Sunday evening dinner can be a challenge. While it is billed as a Mexican/Seafood place, it is really more Mexican than seafood. There are a small number of seafood dishes, but their specialty is definitely Mexican. Service was good, and food was great. I recommend Los Mayas highly. Prices were reasonable. Two of us ate dinner for $26.

Onion rings to die for!! I've loved Danny's onion rings since I was a kid and they were located by the old Sears store (millions of years ago)! And the chicken is just as awesome.

Was volunteer for the Tour du Teche Chitimacha paddle race from New Iberia to Charenton along the BEAUTIFUL Bayou Teche. Since I'm a veggie and was about to gnaw on my arm, I was very very happy to discover this wonderfully clean, happy and delicious drive by or eat in lovely place in Charenton. Did you know that the Chitimacha tribe pre-dated the Roman Civilization in this area. It is absolutely gorgeous. So here's what to do, get a delicious salad or sandwich from Nita's place, grab your folding chairs and go to the boat ramp and watch the fish jump for joy along the beautiful bayou Teche. Next year, get in your kayak or canoe and join the race! See you there!!!
