The day wasn't going to plan - the restaurant we usually go to was too busy! We drove back to St Pierre for safety in numbers and settled upon Le Piazza. The pizzas were really good quality. Tasty, big and with a good variety. The salad italienne was a bit disappointing, lacking in flavour (we grow tomatoes at home here so are a bit spoiled for tasty tomatoes). With drinks and 5 meals it came to about 60 quid in UK pricing and was excellent value.Nice little bistrot atmosphere with some outside space on the terrace and with friendly helpful staff.

Chosen on basis of TA review.Just outside main strip and better for it. Not too busy and plenty of space, even some outside.Standard menu, reasonably priced.Very friendly waiter offer to speak in English or French.Good food, nice carafe of wine.Recommended.

Newly opened with chic, clean decorations. Friendly and happy staff. Our first visit and would definitely return. Fish and meat dishes all very well cooked, tasty, fresh and well presented. Good local beer and wine. Excellent value for money in a good location.

lovely terrace with wooden tables - fresh and home made food - fishes from LA COTINIERE - grill - pizza - backed potatoes - and a large choice of "suggestion du moment - changing every week
Great staff and great food. This is a slick and well run restaurant. We had smoked salmon starters and a pizza. Very happy with our choice. These guys looked like they were enjoying themselves and it showed. We visited out of season but reckon it could get a bit busy in peak periods.

Delicious pizza. Family run. A lovely welcome. My French isnât great but the family were lovely. The food was tasty. Iâve had pizza all over the world and this was one of the best. Authentic family restaurant. Not pretentious and very welcoming. Highly recommended especially if youâre English and looking for a nice welcome.

les patrons sont sympathiques et arrangeants. Un peu d'attente alors patience ou appeler. Pizza miel chèvre bonne, pizza végétarienne ratatouille champignons pas top.Prix corrects.

Finding most places closed on a Sunday lunchtime in February, this was a hidden and unexpected gem. Although signing itself as a Creperie, it is much more than that with a wide range of French and tropical foods. It is in a mostly residential area, away from the harbour and its apparently (from their TA reviews) awful tourist-trap restaurants. The decor reflects the Caribbean/African ambience, and there is an outside seating area. there were a good number of diners for February out of season.6 of us ate a wide range, of starters and some lovely main courses, with a superb fish risotto, 4 having a great magret of duck and me a tasty tender entrecote steak. The chef cooks within view and all was well presented and served in a most friendly and helpful manner especially when the dishes on the menu beat my 55 year old French "O" level!A great thank you to our waitress. We did quaff a fair bit of wine and beer, but the bill still came out at a very reasonable 179 Euros, about £22 each, so good value. This restaurant has not been listed as being in St Denis, which it is, just "Ile d'Oleron", so I have advised TripAdvisor of the correct address..
