My daughter has had lunch - kids lunch to be precise - with my wife on a few past occasions, and I recently went with her for dinner. Her childrens' dish of spaghetti with cream-ham-sauce was on the very heavy side, and she could not finish the portion. My filets de perche were decidedly bland and chewey, and although I did not ask specifically, I do not think the perches were from Lake Geneva. I asked for rice rather than french fries , and the rice was a little on the soggy side. Service was fine at the beginning, but when i asked for the bill, the latter took very long in arriving.....

We had been out for a long walk, and decided that we didn't want to go home and cook. So we dropped in to Restaurant Le 14, and got a table no problem. They have a wood oven to cook the pizzas so great flavour what ever you choose. In summer there are table outside to enjoy the sun.

The Café des Alpes offers one of the best Valentine's Day menus in the area, and does so at an affordable price. We thoroughly enjoyed the appetizer, 'trilogy of the sea' starter, the beef with (generous) shavings of black truffles and polenta, and the dessert. Our daughter enjoyed her (equally generous) pasta dish. Select a red or white wine from the extensive list of Italian wines on offer, and you cannot go wrong.

I have been there twice and it is not great. The place is cozy and nice, but the service is slow (probably not enough people in the team for the number of tables there are) and the food is unremarkable. Pizza is a bit hard to bite. I ordered salmon once and it was overcooked. Not terrible but not great either.

New restaurantt enchanting decor great service, nice location with view on the Jura & the Alps. You will love it, welcoming owner with delicious food...reserve before as it is always surer to get a table ( always crammed) It has a small default; very noisy, I hope they will do something about it soon. It isn't very easy to find as it's not on the main road. But worth the try for sure. I really reccomend if youre looking for a change outside Geneva.

This is not a fine dining place but one where you can taste Italian finger food. We took our daughter and her friends there for a birthday party lunch. Warm bread, a good selection of Italian charcuterie, cheeses, grilled or marinated vegetables, plus a tiramisu as dessert that got the thumbs up of the kids... would not go here for dinner but the concept is interesting, and service is friendly.

I was looking for pizzeria in this town. It was my mistake to not read the previous reviews. I will be honest and mention 9 disadvantages happened to us there: i was standing for 3 minutes waiting to ask for table. Then the lady welcomed the next customers then we got a table but we did not get any advice where to put the baby stroller we ordered 2 pizza napolitaine and le quatre saisons with no ham. We waited 20 minutes the waitress given other customers orders to others by mistake. Our order came with ham and napolitaine burned as charcaol i asked him politely to not accept this one he replied me in french in bad way made all customers lough at me he knows i dont speak french the baker was shouting and throwing the plates i paid the amount and left pizzas untouched with no appology. I travelled to 32 countries but never saw such treatment.

Food and service are really excellent and the ambience is charming and unique. Just a few feet away from the main port of Nernier, you can enjoy an exceptional culinary experience. The chef is continually bringing in fresh products and the menu is always evolving but is consistently excellent. The staff is charming and Porolina is such a good break from the typical "filet de perches" restaurants along the lake. Not to be missed!
