Things to do in Sezanne

Oldish style hotel and restaurant. Luminous dining room with classical lay out. Had a nice full menu meal at a reasonable price/value rate. I think the lady owner was our waitress and she was not overly nice, friendly or professional. When travelling in France, bear in mind times for meals are not too long. Lunch between noon and 1:30, dinner between 7:30 and 9:30, except maybe big cities like Paris.

Visited with my family after struggling to find an open restaurant in Sezanne on a Saturday night. Managed to squeeze us into the back room. Food on the whole was good - the tagliatelle was lovely as was the lamb. My husband ordered the Royale Pizza without mushrooms which was acknowledged by the waitress, however it arrived with what seemed like extra mushrooms! Husband decided not to say anything though as our table had been served quite quickly whilst others around us seemed to be waiting for their food for quite a while. Nice restaurant but noisy, particularly in the back room!

When we travel overseas we like to experience the local scene as a "local" not as a tourist, dinner at Le Soleil gave us exactly that. It was Saturday night in a popular restaurant and the atmosphere was about friends and families enjoying each other's company while eating some great food. The decor is quite plain and simple, the service is quick and friendly and above all, the food is great. We went looking for good French food and got it! My Duck (Canard) was the best I had in the 2 weeks in France.I have to commend the waiters they went out of there way to overcome the language difficulties and made our dining a very memorable experience!

We recently bought a house in a tiny village outside Sézanne and have been checking out places to eat. So far le Relais has not disappointed and is our favourite place so far. The staff is welcoming, efficient and friendly; the food is not elegant but it's very nice and good value. And the house dessert is fantastic! So is the crème brulée....

Found this restaurant in Sezanne one night and went up to see if they could have us. They did, was a bit more ritzy than I was expecting considering we were in Sezanne. The service and food were very good and since we were in the champagne region....had a bottle of the bubbly, which was awesome! The restaurant is very impressive inside as well with the nice tables and dark wood on the walls and ceiling. Only negative thing was the prices, a bit high I thought. Otherwise a very nice evening with good food and champagne!

We were pleased to discover Le Flow here in our second home. Tonight was quiet - a rainy Sunday - but the meal was perfect. Light yet satisfying, healthy and beautifully presented. The cod was super, with a generous portion of meltingly delicious mashed potatoes... Poached pear with chocolate and crunchy cookie bits for dessert was to die for. I wanted to lick the plate! The welcome is warm, the service impeccable, and the chef charming. May Le Flow live long and prosper!
