Very pleasant and friendly service...we ordered two pizzas, freshly made in front of us with good thin bases!

We were wandering around looking for a place to have dinner our first night in France. Stopped at several restaurants and looked at the menus, but then decided to go back to Pizzanocchio because it smelled so good when we walked by! We are glad we did! We spilt a individual size pizza and it was perfect for us! We had a vegetarian pizza, with olives and pepperoni added, and it was great! Lots of toppings, excellent crust, cooked perfectly. Prices were good, and we bought a bottle of wine and took half back to our hotel for later! Service was good and friendly. And it was fun to watch out waitperson dash from taking orders, to rolling out the pizza dough, to getting the orders out to both pick-up and eat in customers. All with a friendly word and a smile! I have a feeling we will be back, even though we are only in town for three days!!

Restaurant looked very inviting, but unfortunately the food was not tasty or seasoned in any way, carpaccio du beuf and the Osso bucco was very bland to say the least, scampi bites was shocking, calzone pizza was the same all very bland. Food came very fast I felt rushed as if they wanted you in and out for the next customers. We have ate a lot in France over the years and this restaurant does France no favours

To us this looked like the nicest place along the main shopping road that did pizzas, gilettes, and crepes. It's all very modern inside, for a French restaurant, and all the staff were super friendly and welcoming. We actuall visited twice, once for dinner and two days later for lunch. We both had gilettes the first time, and pasta and salad dishes the second time. All the food and wine was tasty, excellent value for money, and the service was friendly, excellent, and consistent on both occasions. We will definitely visit again when we're in Cabourg and recommend it with confidence.BonjourMerci pour votre commentaire, cela nous fait toujours plaisir de voir que ces petites attentions plaisent à notre clientèle. au plaisir de vous accueillir de nouveaux. We had supper here mid week in May. The restaurant was quite busy, possibly because nearly every other place in town was shut. I'm not quite sure whether our welcome was less than warm because we were English (although we spoke French) or because we had a (quiet, well behaved) 9 month old with us, but we received a very cool reception from the waitress, who seemed unable to muster even a hint of a smile during our whole visit. To be quite honest, had it not been pouring with rain we would probably have left without ordering anything. There was no high chair for our grandson, which was surprising considering the reputation the Italians have for their love of children and inclusion of the younger generation at meal times, but we managed well enough and the baby was quiet and did not disturb any of the other diners. We decided just to have a main course and leave as quickly as we could because we were made to feel so uncomfortable. The food was delicious: it was beautifully presented and full of flavour, but unfortunately, we were left with a sour taste by the whole experience. What a shame, it could have been SO different!

It was busy, but not full, with quite a multi-cultural crowd for the town of Cabourg. The staff were pleasant and courteous, with a fair grasp of English. The service was good and prompt. The food came quite quickly and was hot (very important to us). The pizzas were great, and I really enjoyed my 'moules et frites'.All in all a great meal and a pleasant evening. Nothing not to like.To be honest, we cheated a little. We looked up the best reviewed restaurant in town, and decided to eat there, so La Casa was always on a bit of a hiding to nothing.Sure, very good, but not great

We stopped at au48 for an evening meal with the kids. The kids and my wife had pizzas, i had moules marinieres. Allrhe pizzes were fantastic, with thin, crispy hand made bases and loads of toppings. The portion size of mussells was enormous, and they were very tasty, but there was not much sauce. Dont let that distract you from a great eatery.
