We sat out the front and reserved for a party of 10. Kids were happy with their Pizzas, we had the Mussels of the house. The sauce was lovely but the food was a little cold when it arrived. The staff were friendly enough. It was OK but I wouldn't go back there are better places to eat close by.

Ke Caprice specialises in thin-crusted pizza, primarily for take-away, though they do have three sheltered picnic tables that the owner, a lovely friendly lade, will happily serve you on. We also sampled the home made gaufres (waffles) that were excellent. Please note that Le Capric is not open year-round -- it closes for the winter.

We recently dined here during the Nuits Celtique festival with a group of musician friends. The meal was delicious and excellent value at â¬15 a head. Our entree of foie gras was fresh, plentiful and top quality. The entrecote was perfectly served à point with flavoursome home-made chips and crisp salad. The pichet of red merlot was haut gamme and again exceptional value for the price. Sadly no time for dessert as our group were due on-stage imminently. Café noissette was welcome after the copious meal. Highly recommend for a relaxed night with friends â service was efficient and served with a smile â the owner was hospitable and welcoming. We shall certainly dine here on other occasions when in GUÃRANDE â enjoy!Merci pour votre commentaire.Félicitations au groupe SOLAS pour sa prestation musicale.Revenez l'année prochaine !

Can't understand the gripes of some of the reviewers. If these pizzas aren't big enough for you, I pity your digestive system. They were excellent. Service was great too. Not a huge choice if you don't want pizza or pasta but what they had was nice, a minute steak served with pasta or sautéed potatoes and a breaded veal escalope. It's not haute cuisine but it doesn't pretend to be. A very cute little Italian stuffed full of bric a brac with lots of atmosphere. There are tables outside for warmer evenings just off the main drag but it's a cosy intimate space inside for cooler nights. Our teenage boys left full and happy and the very drinkable house wine at 7 euros for a half litre carafe brought a smile to our faces too.

Mussels are at the heart of eating out in Penestin (at least, from June when they start being culled) but there is an alternative.. one of the best pizzas in France. They are light, crispy, and tasty... and they sell a fruity Italian red by the carafe to wash it down. They do pasta and steak as well, but the pizza's the thing.

Restaurant face mer , Grand choix de pizzas faites entièrement sur place par notre pizzaiolo. Salade, moules, poissons et viandes.
We had lunch here one day, didnât book but just called in hoping for a table. Lucky for us, even though they were quite busy, the very friendly waitress managed to accommodate us. I had mussels, which were excellent. We really enjoyed the view from our table overlooking the harbour where you can watch the boat activity. Great food, nice staff and good location. A little restaurant to be recommended.
