I went there Friday evening without reservation and the place was already 80% full of a mix of customers, local residents, touristes of all ages. Obviously a popular place which was confirmed by full house a bit later. Not a cosy place, not a intime place but normal decoration. Waiters very efficient, things arrived with amazing speed from kitchen. After 2 aperitifs, we started with a kefta brick, tasty but lacked a bit of salt, continued with Royal Couscous which was excellent. The size of portions was more than enough, even for a big eater. The lamb was very soft, merguezes very tasty, chicken also very well done. For desert, icecream Poire Helene and Banana split. All this crowned with a good Marocan wine (see picture) which had a very correct price/quality ratio. Total bill of exactly 100 euro's for 2 person which is correct.

Lovely food with great service and a really authentic atmosphere. An excellent place to dine out with friends and to capture a different atmomsphere to the other local restaurants. I highly recommend this.

The Restaurant is situated in the pedestrian area of Rueil 2000 and just beside the Seine so it is a very pleasant place for a walk by the river before or after a dinner. I invited an overseas work colleague for dinner in the area and we chose here as they wanted to try Lebanese food. Warning sign 1) On walking in the place was totally empty, we were the only customers, should have cut and run but decided to push ahead. Warning sign 2 ) The greeting was cold and not very welcoming. Warning sign 3 ) We chose a table and were told it was reserved. !! ( Needles to say by the time we left nobody had occupied the table as there was only one other customer in the place). Warning sign 4 ) The menu was a ragged two page plastic type with pictures. When the food arrived it was bland and dry. the service was functional but unpleasant to deal with. Not a successful choice. We had enough warning signs but did not act on them. Does nothing to inspire the love of Lebanese food. I guess the place does ok for lunches with the captive workforce in the surrounding offices but I will not be choosing it again.
