We were stuck for something to do with the kids on a rainy day and decided to head into the mountains after reading about LâEternisula. We were not disappointed!Right from entering the restaurant we were made to feel welcome and to feel nothing was to much trouble. We had to sit in a corner because they were busy, but the got free chairs and a table from outside to make us as comfortable as possible, and to be honest, this just made it feel more special for us and the kids. The food was nothing short of amazing, helping us understand what the dishes were. They even said the Le Croque was to a bit to big for 1 each for the kids, and without asking offered to split 1 and serve it as 2 plates. The food came in good time and when a table that could seat us became available offered to move us, but we stayed as we liked our little corner!With the main course gone we had to try deserts and one of our kids wanted the Chocolate Fondant but didnât want the vanilla ice cream. Again they said we should have something as the centre is hot, and offered whipped cream or an ice cream of her choice. To be honest I rarely give out 5 stars unless I think they have gone out of their way to be helpful or just given superior service, and LâEternisula gave all this AND great food!The drive through the Needles was stunning, as is LâEternisula!

We found this restaurant while staying in nearby talasani - it is high in the mountains with a terrace affording spectacular views of the distant coastline and the isle of monte christo.Food - well this was as good as the view. We had a shared octopus salad starter which was well presented and sufficient for two. It was tasty and well presented. Our mains were a local veal steak with a herb butter, it was first class and cooked well. The flavours were delicate and subtle. The other main was a homemade ribbon pasta with local charcuterie called lonzo and corpse mushrooms. Again very good.Overall the food was as good as the view and if visiting this beautiful area make sure you visit this restaurant. Our only regret was that we were flying home and didn't get the chance to try another meal!

The food was delicious. Well cooked with fresh ingredients. The duck breast was wonderful with a glorious juice whilst my wife's venison was delightful. Truth told, much better than the well below average food served up on the marina. Wine here surprisingly inexpensive around 5 euros a glass, although sure they'll sell you a good red for days wage. Here for my wife's birthday so not impressed with confusion re timing when we arrived. Had us down an hour later. A little annoying. And seemed annoyed when not wanting to take a table inches from the pavement. That said, was happy with the food. But again, it is the little things that go wrong we customers remember.

Ile Rousse is a pleasant small town where the ferry brings tourists. It was lovely to discover this simple, tasteful tapas bar down a side alley, which was a delightful difference to other touristy places. The food was fun and different but what initially caught my attention was the most delicious smell of cooking which lingered in the street.
