Dined at La Pasta while on a one-night stopover in Bourges. It was a success. Near the centre of town, already full of local families when I arrived about 19.30, it was clearly a happy place. Despite the large number of customers, La Pasta's staff managed very well indeed. Pizzas were made to order in quick time, servers were friendly and helpful, and the pizza was excellent. There was a wide variety of toppings available, and we could purchase wine by the picher. Prices were reasonable. Not a posh restaurant by any means; but this is how pizzerias should be. Recommend wholeheartedly.

We were a group of 20 people for dinner. I can say I was impressed with the level of service for our large group and observing the service of other patrons, that everyone was well taken care of. The food was good and side items just as wonderful.

I've lived & worked in several ME countries, and enjoy Lebanese style cooking. This place would probably not last long in Lebanon, but for Bourges it can be a pleasant inexpensive break from the norm. Most of their hot dishes (falafel, kibbeh, shwarma, etc.) are mediocre, but the cold dishes (humous, tabbouleh, baba ganouch, etc) are excellent. Deserts mediocre. The service leaves much to be desired, but they try to be friendly. We've been here several times, and will return.
