Recommended for our group to give it a try. All have reasonably sophisticated palates and have eaten in many establishments. This one rated right there with interesting cuisine - primarily Italian. Quaint decor in restored medieval cottage lends itself to the dining experience. Service was average but then were busty with minimal staff but DON'T arrive early - they won't let you in even if its raining - but we are in France. Just laugh it off and enjoy a unique dining experience

Pizza & Salads, Beers & Wines Terrace on the banks of the Dordogne Available for large group hire
I love a restaurant that hands you a chilled glass of fizz while you check out the menu (OK it was a Motherâs Day special, but top marks from me). The Spanish style croquettes were light and fluffy and I really liked that they came as a mixed selection so I didnât have to make any difficult decisions that early into the meal. The pizzas were truly delicious and my âDiavoloâ was a wonderful crispy base topped with a mouthwatering spicy salami. The staff were great and made us all very welcome, while managing our various queries and allergy requests with ease (Iâm never the easiest of guests !) I wish this newly opened restaurant the very best of luck, not that they will need it as they are doing everything right.

My mother and I recently visited and arrived late into the lunch service . Staff were accommodating and had no problem with us ordering late . Menu was extensive and the wine menu was great . We sat outside as it was a lovely afternoon. Most diners were finished and had left . The waiter was happy for us to savour our wine and told us that there was no rush. A few people stopped by , the waiter told them that were closed and gave recommendations for other places to get food. Enjoyed the food and the accommodating staff helped the experience .

We were well into our first week in France and in need of a simple meal after many fanciful dinners. Luckily this pizzeria was a short walk away from our B & B. The first thing you notice, even before you get there, is the classic rock playing inside. Indeed the decor is full of vintage album covers and photos of iconic 60's rockers on the wall. The food is good, inexpensive and the service is great. We took our first pie back home but dined outside in the plaza across from it where they have table service. A great spot to watch the locals in this beautiful village.
