Four of us ate dinner here on a Sunday evening. The server spoke excellent English and was very friendly. Our group had several different pasta dishes and a calzone. All of them were excellent and the portions were very generous. We sat at an outdoor table on a very pleasant evening. The service was excellent. We enjoyed our evening very much. Iâd highly recommend this restaurant.

This Italian restaurant is very good for both business as with friends. It comes with wide choices of starters, pasta, pizza but also typical French dishes. The food is very good, the price is acceptable, the waiter is very friendly (speaks English) and the boss is very present and friendly as well. The special coffee which comes with 3 desserts is strongly advised to end your diner. I will definitely return to this restaurant when I'm around!

We were staying at the Hotel (L'Abbeye) next door & this seemed a nice local bistro. It was lunchtime (2pm) & there were 8 in our group who decided to sit on high bar stools/tables outside. There were already another 6 or so people outside eating drinking. There were 3 staff none of which came to ask what we wanted. We had to go to the bar to get service. The stools & tables we were at had seen better days & needed the stuffing re-doing & vinyl recovering. Staff didn't offer us menus or ask us about dining.... so we decided just to have a drink there. We asked for small beers and they never offered us a choice of beers. They served their version of Leffe which we found out when the bill came, was â¬4.10 for a half. We then asked if they did any other options of beer/lager and they said they did Heiniken which was nicer & a lot cheaper. If staff were more amiable we would have eaten there and had wine too. It seemed they weren't bothered. Hence we ate elswhere. Shame as its a great location on the Loire, and right next to a stunning Abbey Hotel (see our other review) and I'm sure they could capitalise on the hotel guests for lunches etc.
