We came here with 3 adults and 2 young children and ate out on the beautiful patio. Wonderful food choices - try the salmon! - from a specially crafted menu. The staff are gracious and helpful. Good find!
We keren zeker terug ! Top !

Wine Bar, literary café Wine shop, bookshop, but coffee, tea and cold drinks as well all day long and for after-work. Kids Corner Organic wines, biodynamic cultivation, wine tasting, on the spot or to take away. Boards with meats and cheeses. Books to rea
We stumbled upon this little gem by chance, looking for a late lunch to have a good girly chat - despite the late hour, JB and Julien welcomed us warmly. This wine bar cum bistro has everything a person needs to be happy - as the name suggests. A simple menu composed of top quality products and a matching wine list. Les Gens Heureux is celebrating its first anniversary, deservedly so. But it is so much more than just a wine bar - it is a café, a bookshop, with a true kids corner where your little ones can read, relax and play, out of the heat of the midday sun. The wine is organic, bio dynamic, supplied from close by (I recommend Château Léoube, rosé). The bread, which they sell to go as well as serve, is natural, made by a local baker and is quite simply to die for - crusty on the outside, perfectly squishy on the inside. Decades ago, when my children were small, we dreamed of creating a space like this - well, JB did it! Bravo! If i lived in Eguilles, this place would definitely be my local. The cafe/wine bar is situated in the cool vaults of an old olive mill - in Summer a haven from the unforgiving Provencal sun - in Winter, I am sure it will be equally hygge. They have an outside terrace too - this place has everything you need - even a tele to watch the world cup! It feels like coming home. Bravo!
