We have been going to Adelita's weekly for 10 months now since we first arrived in France. It is hands down our favorite place to eat. The owners, Lynn and Jose run the restaurant and they both speak fluent French, English and Spanish. We felt immediately welcome our first visit there, and the amazing food sealed the love affair! The restaurant can get very busy, so sometimes the service is more geared towards getting food and drinks out than chatting with patrons, but socializing is what your dinner companions are for! The decor is authentic Mexican / South American, cozy and welcoming. There is a covered patio when it's raining, which opens up when the weather is nice. In the winter there is a wood burning stove to keep warm. The mojitos are fantastic, with freshly squeezed lime juice and mint. The food is always amazing, not overly complicated, just good, fresh yummy meals (that you begin to crave if you happen to live nearby ;) The sauces and seasonings are extremely well done, with authentic flavours from Mexico/South America. Portions are always perfect for us, not massive but you are Full when you're done. Desserts are equally as good, but we usually don't have room! Adelita's is well worth the short trip from Annecy, but be sure to call ahead and make reservations (mandatory Friday/Sat if you don't want to wait a long time for a seat!) because it's very popular with all the locals and the tables are often filled! Overall, Adelita's is a must visit place, if you want a great meal! (I probably shouldn't write this review because I don't want to have trouble getting a table ;).

This Mexican restaurant opens the door to Mexican cuisine through typical dishes cooked with passion in a home-like atmosphere.
We managed to get one of the few unreserved tables at Lac Casa as soon as they opened one evening. The restaurant is nicely decorated and bright. The tables are close together, this is more of a party fun restaurant than a romantic venue but don't let that put you off if you are a couple, the fun atmosphere rubs off on you.We had burritos and quesadillas. Normally I'd take a picture of the the burrito was soooo good that I'd polished it off before I thought about a picture! The burrito was so good, my daughter decided she wanted one too so we shared her quesadillas and ordered another burrito! The food is fresh, clearly all made in the kitchen as even the burrito wrap was beautifully freshly cooked. The service is impeccable and this new restaurant deserves to be very very successful given the combination of atmosphere, service and excellent authentic Mexican food. Don't leave it to chance, book a table now! We are really thankful for all your comments about the atmosphere, the service and the food, and especially the burrito ;) And it is completely true that is all made in the kitchen only few minutes before you are served, so it is completely fresh !! We will appreciate to see you again and share a good moment with you and your family. SEE YOU SOON
Essentially this is a number of small food stalls with central seating on long tables, with also other activities possible (jeu de boules, skateboarding, hair cuts, massage, etc). O yes, and some nights there is live music. Food possiblities range from hamburger, local cuisine (Savoyard), wok, falafel and there are beer and wine bars, with a relaxed atmosphere
