Called in for lunch and wasn't that impressed, I ordered the tartine off the specials board and it was smothered in cherry tomatoes which were very nice and sweet but just too much of it and a disappointing lunch although the others enjoyed the pizza and salads. Not the friendliest service though.

St Cere is a lovely town to visit, especially if you have just been to Chateau Montal. There are a lot of restaurants - we chose this one almost at random. It has a nice courtyard area and is fairly central. We ordered salads and pizza, not realising that the salads would be a meal on their own. The cost for three salads, two pizzas, and five drinks was just over 40 euros, which was a sensible price for a tourist town

You don't automatically think of pizza when you go to France, but our friends highly recommended this place and we weren't disappointed.Service was friendly and prompt. Atmosphere jolly. The choice of pizza was vast as were the drinks and deserts. When the pizza arrived we were astonished it was quite large. Nevertheless we ate it all as it was the most delicious pizza I have ever tasted.Highly recommended and will definitely go again.
