You would have thought that it would be easy to find a table at a decent restaurant on a Tuesday night in n September. But not in Nimes it seems. Some were closed whilst another we fancied was 'complet' when we called. So we went for this curious French/South African fusion. We'd booked at 6.30 and by the time we arrived at 7.45pm they were turning away potential punters. The food was good and my no carb/low carb wife was happy too. I had a cheese and beetroot starter with a lamb tagging for main. We both chose cheese for after. Wines were a mix of local and South African. The bill was not as cheap as some, but we left happy

It is not a 3 star restaurant, but in the old city of Nimes a nice place to have a decent and quick diner. You can choose from different small dishes and share them with your company.

Reviewed the views on TA and booked via the website. No real need although it filled up as the evening wore on.Had the â¬22 menu. My flan starter was excellent. The wife's cold meat cuts standard stuff. For the main course we both went for the steak. Poor choice. Tough. Desserts were fine. Nice bottle of local wine â¬25. Staff were pleasant enough but you got the feeling they knew they didn't have to work to hard.
