Mes amis m'avaient recommandé ce restaurant de crustacés ; petit endroit sympathique : huitres excellentes, par contre déception pour les palourdes qui n'auraient pas dû être présentées car extrêmement petites.

Full of hope based on the reviews, we dined at this restaurant last evening. We chose grilled lobster. Everything about the meal, except our G&T and wine, was extremely disappointing. We usually find something good to say but sadly can't on this occasion. The lady who sat to our right pushed her plate away after trying her particular dish, as had the lady who'd occupied the same table earlier. It could have been a bad night for the Chef but our lunch today at Bar et Brasserie Alexandre excelled and it cost only half the price. Advice is to go to restaurants that artisans and locals go to, not the tourists.

We left this restaurant until our last night as it looked a bit more special than the other restaurants itâs surrounded by. We were not disappointed.... The food is incredible; so are the drinks and the staff. Whilst the menu was somewhat limited, it would cater for all tastes and is very reasonably priced given the extremely high standard of what is served. We would urge anyone passing through the area to try this beautiful restaurant out :)

On the waterfront, this family owned restaurant is delightful. English speaking young waiter was very helpful and attentive. Oysters wonderful! We enjoyed the Fish Soup, the Bouride (Monkfish in Saffron Sauce), the Prawns and everything else. The desserts were also good, especially the Ile de flottante! Good wine list and very well priced.

Really nice setting by the shore in amongst the workings for the oyster beds. Covered seating with great views. We had crevettes, moules gratinee and fresh oysters with fresh bread, garlic mayonnaise and vinegar with onions as a starter followed by more moules gratinee, oysters gratinee and moules served in a black casserole dish. Very good washed down with some chilled picpoul. Good service and parking near by.

Living in the area since nearly a decade, I have been extremly well surprised by this dinner out in Bouzigues at L'Arseillere as it offered my fiancée and I the exact gastronomic scenery we were expecting: perfect location facing Thau lake, oysters parks & the sunset, traditional architecture warmly coloured house & terrasse, warm hospitality & family owned business, friendly mix of local & tourists enjoying dinner, nice menu based on local products including Tielles sètoises & oysters produced by the founder of the restaurant, careful & merry service, nice playlist & delicious home-made fondants aux chocolats; what else!

We went twice - once for lunch and once for dinner. Both meals were delicious. Seafood, fresh and beautifully cooked with simple accompaniments is what this place does superbly. The octopus was a revelation, the gambas were sweet and delcious, partner's John Dory had him in raptures. Oysters for starter - well, you are in Bouzigues.Florence was friendly and efficient as front of house.

Despite having spent a few holidays in Languedoc we had never made it to Bouzigues before. Very glad we did: picturesque and comparatively unspoilt village with lots of eating out choices. We chose Chez Alex Et Lucie on basis of the reviews and its attractive appearance. The positive reviews are well earned: great shellfish and fish and very accommodating service for my pigeon french. Recommend the monkfish and tarte tatin in particular.

Producer of oysters and mussels in the lagoon of Thau, I invite you to come and taste my products on a terrace above the lagoon. My speciality is oysters, raw with lemon or shallot vinegar, if you prefer cooked oyster try them gratinated. For mussels, it'
Donât be put off by the boatyard setting, go inside and you are in for a treat. The owner is both friendly and courteous and speaks some English. You will be taken to the rear of the boatyard where you will be shown to rustic tables on a small covered jetty overlooking the Etang de Thau, what a beautiful view to sit and eat, but the best is yet to come the oysters and mussels are fantastic. Make the effort itâs really worth it.
