Turned up early before the rush. Pleasant enough but not spectacular. Pizza was good but not up to Sicilian standards. Penne all'aribiatta was a bit too spicey. Packed with tables of young people when we left. I think over-rated on Trip Advisor

Brilliant Italian food! Had a very nice selection of Pizzas and Italian food. The prices were also reasonable and service was prompt. Must try if you are nearby Lyon!

The General rule for the budget traveler. If you want a cheap meal, you need to go to an Italian pizza place. The Chinese, however, even cheaper, but it's for Amateurs. This pizzeria is far from the original Hiking trails but close to my hostel. In a package with inexpensive pizza there was a good wine and extremely friendly staff. However, not necessarily Italians.

Parked our boat at the marina after five days coming up the Rhone and remembered we had eaten here last year and it was pretty good.Got the last table for two and the waiter's recommendation was our favourite French wine - a Crozes Hermitage red - so we went with that. Blow the expense.Wife only wanted a green salad and they were happy to oblige. Pizza, salad, service, and especially the wine, were excellent â no complaints at all.Wife passed on dessert, but waiter sold me on the coupe de glaces. What I thought he said was a couple of boules of chocolate ice cream and some chantilly. It arrived. Holy Bejeezus. They must have emptied an entire aerosol of noxious white gooey chemically-enhanced white fluffy margarine-based stuff on top of it. I managed to discretely shovel most of this into my napkin, and one purloined from the recently-vacated adjacent table, and there, hiding shamefully underneath, were two small scoops of what would have to be the cheapest, bargain basement, nastiest ice-cream I have eaten in many decades. Just gross. I am actually ashamed that I ate it.The waiter asked how it was and we said "terrible" in both French and English. We were serious and seriously thought he had got the message. That. We. Hated. It.Nevertheless, when we settled up at the caisse, we were still charged â¬8.00 for this abortion of a dessert.Would have left four or five stars if not for this. But that dessert seriously rates minus *****. I wouldn't eat that rubbish again if they paid me â¬800.00. It literally left a bad taste in my mouth about our entire visit. Wish we hadn't bothered.Sorry guys, I don't like leaving negative reviews, but you seriously need to do better than that. And if a customer says a serving is disgusting or terrible â just knock it off the bill. After all, it's only 20 cents of cheap ice cream and half a can of no-name frothy whippy chemical cream or whatever you may call it in French.

A tasty surprise with my Italian/New Yorker husband who is a tough critique when it comes to pizza and Italian food. We had the Nonno pizza which was delicious, well seasoned with a perfect amount of cheese and fresh dough. The veal Marsala wasnât a traditional Italian preparation, in typical French fashion they added cream and possibly a soft cheese; however it was a delicious sauce with the spaghetti they served with it. Usually spaghetti is boxed, but this pasta tasted homemade. On a busy night they let us take the last table after we had been turned away by the pizza place down the street saying they were âfullâ but had 4 open tables. Nice service with a smile, we left very happy!

Pizza made to order with some good options for vegetarians and meat lovers. The service is a bit slow and the pizza sauce does need some more flavor to it. The crust is very good and certainly try the dessert options here.

Great little restaurant. Obviously specialises in pizza but my hubby had the 4 cheese gnocchi, which was delicious, and I had the salmon pasta which was one of the best pasta dishes ive ever had. The caprese salad was very good. Beautiful mozerella and fresh lettice and tomato. Portions are generous. Only disappointment was the pana cotta. It was dried and rubbery on the top like it had been sitting for a long time - the only thing keeping my review away from 'excellent'. The server was lovely. Friendly, with excellent English and very efficient. Well worth a visit.

I been there with my boyfriend today and it's been a nice discovery. Good pizza/focaccia and fare the price even cheap for the quality of the ingredients. Staff was really nice and smile and already that make the difference! I will certainly come back!!

This Italian restaurant is a cosy place with delightfully fresh pizzas. Colourful but tasty decorated with full focus on making their customers happy. You can really save a lot of money going/ordering from Zappo instead of the touristy places. And the food is great. They even have a full range of mozzarella. And a range of Italian desserts!Tip: it is only a ten-minute-walk from both Novotel and Ibis Gerland.Gutes PizzaLekkere pizza, lekker en betaalbaarDeilig pizza, billig og braP.s. Was welcomed by a friendly employee. Had a simple pizza and was amazed how fast it was served. The big oven delivers! Nice pizza. Friendly personnel. Glad it isn't around the corner from my home. Otherwise I'd probably visit it too often.
