Modern restaurant/tea room but retaining a very traditional atmosphere of the region. Wide variety of patisserie for coffee, light lunches etc. Friendly service, relaxed ambiance, a good venue to be with friends and family.

My wife and I have just returned from a two week holiday staying in self catering accommodation in Les Champ St Pere. On three occasions we visited this restaurant in the evening and found it to be excellent. They provide Pizzas, Galettes and Crepes as the main dishes but there are other choices. They are also a take away restaurant as we noticed many local people calling in to pick up pizzas. The staff were very friendly and helped to make sure that we had a good time even though we could not speak french other than just a few words and phrases.The food was delightful, well cooked and of a very high standard. If you have a chance to visit, try the Galettes which are very French and have a variety of fillings that you can choose from to serve all tastes.If you want a good restaurant in this area, make it your first choice and don't worry if your French is a bit limited!

Lovely clean restuarant with delicious variety of food. Modern restaurant, great service and prices reasonable. Same price at night as the lunchtime. They donât do starters but you wonât be disappointed the meals are tasty and substantial you come away full. It is also great that they donât just serve chips. I love their jacket potatoes. In the centre of Talmont. Lovely place

Dinner for two at 9pm on a Saturday Night in August . Beautifully renovated premises in the centre of Talmont St Hilaire. Without a doubt the best Pizza I have ever eaten . A minor issue was immediately resolved and we went on to enjoy our superb meal . Thin homemade base with the very top end of ingredients and an excellent bottle of Samur from a limited but well chosen wine list . Still very busy when we left at 10 30 pm - unusual for rural Vendee. Bravo !! Super!! Bon Chance . We will be back .

Pourquoi pas ? / on se gare (difficilement à proximité) et on en commande 2 (pour 4) donc 1 payée et 1 gratuite / bien pour le prix mais déception sur la dégustation / ingrédients qualité moyenne, et manque de saveurs pour une (La Forté) et ignoble sauce soit disant à la Marocaine sur lâautre (très pimentée) / brûlures dâestomac assurées / bon accueil cependant

I love this restaurant! We ensure we come here every year we visit La Tranche Sur Mer and being right next to our campsite makes access even better. The team led by Jo and Michael are brilliant! Great service and good humour too! The atmosphere is excellent as is the food! They have everything from burger to mussels and cooked to perfection! The pizzas are to die for! They also do take away which is a great help after a long day out! Looking forward to seeing you all next year!

It's the first Bar/Restaurant in Rocher main street so it's perfect location for watching the world go by whilst enjoying an excellent pizza washed down with a glass or two. Excellent selection of ice creams too. Staff are friendly and service is swift.

This is a family run restaurant which serves local produce and does fabulous pizzas. It is always busy, even out of season, so I would recommend that you book a table. We've been here for lunch and dinner and would highly recommend it. Our last server was Antoine who looked after us very well, with typical french humour thrown in to keep us laughing throughout. I'm vegetarian and the team are more than happy to adapt dishes to give me more choice. They were equally helpful with a guest of ours who has a gluten allergy. The restaurant will also accept your (well behaved) dog on the terrace (covered in cooler weather).
