After having a horrendously difficult time driving 4 miles in a driving rainstorm, we reached our destination soaking wet(won't go into the details). We ordered the jambon, artichokes, champignons, anchovies pizza with a bottle of CDR Rose. Fabulous pizza that went beautifully with our wine. Our server was so sweet and attentive. Was worth the soggy trip!

This is the place we've been returning to for some 20 years now. Extremely nuce terrace between Platain trees in the city centre of a sleepy medieval French town. Relaxed in capitals. Food not great, but ambiance and drinks superb!

Had lunch with friends last week. The restaurant is in the village with a lovely terrace. We were warmly welcomed and the staff were excellent however the food was disappointing especially the Veal which was very dry. On paying the bill we advised the lady in charge and received no apology except the usual comment 'I'll tell the Chef!'.Maybe they were all just having a bad day.

We came here for dinner on the night we arrived in Seguret, after going for a drive for much of the day. It was Monday, so many restaurants were closed. We arrived early, hoping to get a table before the later reservations showed up. There was nobody in the dining room, and they told us they were full, but we were free to eat outside. Normally, that would have been good, but this evening was a bit windy and cool, and there were some rain showers. They did bring some blankets to keep us warm. We watched the main dining room. A few other people showed up while we were eating, but there was no time where the place was full. I really felt that they could have agreed to seat us inside if we promised to be finished by, say 8:00 or 8:30 pm.The food was good but somewhat casual, which was fine. The wines were local, good value and tasty. It was a nice dinner overall, but marred just a bit by being stuck outside.

The set menu is probably the better option. If you just want something light the choice is somewhat limited. The menu, especially dish of the day, produces excellent cooking with interesting presentation.Huge choice of desserts - something of a speciality. They all look delicious!bonjour merci pour votre avis, c'est vrai que nous avons moins de différents plats au mois de septembre par rapport à l'été mais nos plats sont maison le jeudi vous avez très souvent en plus de la carte un splendide bar désarrété et farci qui fait le bonheur de nombreux clients.il y a toujours de grandes assiettes végétariennes possibles puisque nous cuisinons beaucoup les légumes sous diverses formesdes grillades XXL pour les amateurs, tout n'est pas toujours noté mais nos clients savent qu'ils peuvent demander des tailles et des préparations de plats avec des déclinaisons à l'infini dès que la grosse saison est passée nous avons tous le temps de faire du sur mesure sur l'instant.si nous proposions une très grande carte en ce moment ce ne pourrait pas être du frais comme nous vous le faisons toujours....merci pour ce bon avis qui nous fait très plaisir à bientôt de vous revoir nous espéronsbonne visite de notre Drôme Claudette

L'Angelus fare is straightforward, but consistently high quality and served with a friendly informality that belies a patently well-run restaurant. Family-run, the owners speak exceptional English, having for many years run a country club in Surrey. The menu is essentially pizzas or steak, but all are prepared in a dramatic wood-burning oven that delivers consistently good results. Very children friendly, I have enjoyed more meals than I can remember here. It is my first port of call in Sainte Cecile when I need recharging. From memory the pizzas are about Euros 11 and steak around Euros 19. The steak I had on my last visit was as good as I have eaten - fabulous, tender, well-flavoured meat, properly cooked and served with a lovely dauphoinoise.

The wine route with free tastings in the cellars of the Cotes du Rhone vineyar The magnificent scenery, the delicate scents of the Provence, the ochre rocks of rousillon, the olive oils of Nyons Mont Ventoux, the Dentelles of Montmirail Ancient villages w
As usual we had lunch at La Farigoule when we are on vacation in the Vaucluse. Rather than taking the menue of the day we ordered the four course lunch. Each one was delicious. Perhaps they could make the portions of entree and main course a bit smaller for travellers of our age. But the taste was great, the service friendly and efficient and the owner knows about food and speaks good english! We certainly will return here. Try to arrive in good time, the traffic picks up after 13.45 and can be a bit noisy.Afterwards one can visit the great many caves in this excellent wine region.

We were recommended for this restaurant by the owner of the hotel we stayed. It is a restaurant attached to a small hotel/gites, rather a new establishment. The surrounding is beautiful, and the owner is very friendly. Food was also enjoyable, and very reasonable price.

Eating at CVG was a absolute treat. The garden setting, beautifully decorated is tranquil & peaceful. Well spaced tables, comfy chairs.... friendly welcome from smiling staff, a perfect start to the evening. The courgette stuffed with crab was llight & flavoursome, the cold tomato/gazpacho sauce its served with burst of summer for your tastebuds. Mains of fish & pork, ingredients of the highest quality prepared without too much fuss, cooked & seasoned just right. A plate of cheese delicious & the correct sized portion. Dessert was unexciting, a mille feuille, pastry was perfect but the creamy filling was bland. The menu at â¬42pp is a good price in our opinion. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

It took us a couple, of circuits of Visan before we found Les Troubadours, but we are pleased we did so.Tucked into what amounts to a cave under a rocky outcrop this small restaurant provided a great value lunch. We had the menu de jour which was a cut above that offered by many establishments and was served by the friendly and efficient proprietor.
